  • Rascal Flatts was amazing!!!!

I was totally impressed with the whole show. Darius Rucker rocked and I thought it was great that Rascal Flatts brought Darius out for the finale!! I can't wait for them to come back to Toronto or Hamilton!!

I absolutely love Rascal Flatts. I have all of the their albums. I have loved them since they began. I was very excited to see them live in concert. They were really great. I had never been to Copps Coliseum before. I was a little less than impressed with the alcohol consumption. People were standing up so people behind them couldn't see. I paid as much for my tickets as the next guy and I could only see half of the concert because there was a group of people all standing up through out the whole entire concert. They were back and forth to the concession stand getting beer so no one dared to ask them to sit down for fear of a confrontation. The volume of the music was also too loud. Sometimes you weren't sure what song they were starting because it was so distorted because it was too loud. We sat very close to the front so it might have been because we were really close to the speaks. There was nothing wrong with the performance. It was excellent. It was really the crowd and the volume that made it a little less than perfect. Everyone did seem to have a great time, some more so than others! But while walking out, I did hear a lot of people saying that it was just too loud.

  • Rascal Flatts - one word - AWESOME!!!!

    by Sandy0307 on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

The RF concert was fantastic!!! I brought along some friends who were not really familiar with country music - but they are fans now!!! Darius Rucker started the show off in style! It was great that he did some 'Hootie & the Blowfish' stuff too! I've been to several RF concerts now, along with my 2 grown up kids, & each one is always better than the last. Can't wait to see them again! What a great way to spend an evening! The only thing that bothered me was the lack of security when we entered. I guess I am just so used to having somebody look through my purse, I expected it. When that didn't happen, it was a little worrisome. I really felt that Copps Coliseum had reduced staff & just didn't have the number of security or ushers that usually are present at these large venues.

  • Rascal Flatts Unstoppable Tour

    by Nikie27 on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

This is my 3rd time seeing Rascal Flatts in concert. All of their shows have been great, but I especially enjoyed this concert. Darius Rucker (formerly from Hootie and the Blow Fish) opened the show. He was a great performer- good songs, great band. Rascal Flatts performed live all night and sounded great! They interacted with the audience throughout the night (great jokes, lots of laughs). The stage setup was pretty elaborate and had several different catwalks, so the band was able to interact with fans all over the arena. An overall great show. I can't wait until they come back!

  • Rascal & Rucker were awesome!

by Oakville on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Both Rascal Flatts and Darius Rucker put on a great show. My wife said it was one of the best concerts she had seen. The sound was fantastic as was the stage...Rascal Flatts did a fantastic job of using the stage that jutted out into the audience. Would definitely see both acts again! Darius Rucker is a masterful songwriter. His lyrics are so meaningful and his delivery if memorable.

  • Amazing conceRT

by Funone on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Darius Rucker was an amazing performer. He really connected with his audience and has a very powerful voice. I would go see him again in a minute. Rascal Flatts put on a spectecular show. My only complaint was their sound system seemed to have some crackling in it. Other than that they were great, entertaining and fantastic to see live.

  • Rascal Flatts

by GeneralJ on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

It was a great show. Darius Rucker was a great surprise. Lots of terrific songs. He could have worked the stage more...felt bad for the people not near the front. Rascal Flatts was really great. Lights, video, stage transformed Copps to summer, fall, and the 4th of July. Band was terrific. Enjoyed it from start to finish. Loved the fiddle version of Oh Canada. Only recommendation is to intro all the band members (felt a little bad for them that only the front three got the credit) and much like Darius Rucker the front part of the stage was not used that much...either use it or lose it.

  • Rascal Flatts & Darius Rucker were GREAT!

The concert at Copps Coliseum was GREAT!. I had seen Rascal Flatts in concert about 2 years ago at the ACC, but they had much more energy and were more engaged with the audience this time. My only dissappointment was they didn't sing Sara Beth.

  • by tessie on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

Phenomenal concert! From start to finish, we were entertained with a high energy performance by all.

Second Time seeing them in concert and once again they did not disappoint. These boys can put on a show !!! Would have like to have seen them use the platform that blocked my view on the floor more often though :<( Would have made my floor seats worth their money.

This was the 4th time to see Darius Rucker & 2nd time to see Rascal Flatts. If I could arrange to see them again tomorrow I would go. They both make you feel like you are the most important audience they have played for.

  • Just as good as the first time

What a great concert. This was my second time seeing them. This time I took the whole family, For a first time concert for my kids, it will be one they never will forget. Rascal Flatts inter acts with the audience, which is nice. They don't just come out and sing, They have a good time while on stage so we can have a good time. My daughter loved Jay, she thought he was so funny.

I'm not country's biggest fan, bought the tickets for my girlfriend's birthday, but thought it was a very entertaining performance and the musical talent was excellent. I would go to another Rascal Flatts concert in a heartbeat!

  • The Flatts are a great time

by doune on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 5 out of 5

The Flatts were a great show. They have so many hits that the crowd was singing along the whole time. There were no breaks they rocked it for a little over 2 hours. Great time.

  • Rascal Flatts was GREAT !!!!

by Queenofthecoven on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 4 out of 5

Darius Rucker opened formerly of Hootie and the Blowfish. He played his new country songs as well as some old Hootie songs. He ended with his rendition of Purple Rain by Prince and did an amazing job of it. Rascal sang mostly older stuff but not a lot from their new album. Lot of fun with the crowd and very personable.

  • Hoot for hootie, but the headliners came out Flatt

by SBHamilton on 2010-02-01Copps Coliseum - HamiltonRating: 2 out of 5

First off, I'm not a big country music fan, but my girlfriend is a huge fan. I bought these tickets for her for Christmas, as Rascal Flatts is one of her favourite country music acts. I had previsouly gone to see both Brad Paisley and Keith Urban with her, and I left both of those shows very impressed. Even though it's not necessarily my cup of tea, both were really entertaining shows. Rascal Flatts, on the other hand, was quite boring. Even my girlfriend, who is a fan of their music, left the show disappointed. These guys had no stage presence. In between songs (which all sound the same), they just took turns walking around the stage trying to be funny - they were not. In the middle of the set, the lead singer takes off for a good 15 or 20 mins....presumably to catch his breath, as he could barely move to begin with - might want to consider joining Jenny Craig. The only saving grace for the evening was Darius Rucker (Hootie). He was a fantastic opening act and he actually played some old Hootie tunes. He came out during the encore, which made the end of the show more enjoyable. Overall, the only reason I'm giving this show 2 stars instead of 1 is because of Darius Rucker.

Amazing concert, Copps is an excellent venue. Rascall Flatts puts on an amazing show and Darius Rucker's voice was so powerful he stole the encore!
