by springchicken on 2009-11-11General Motors Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Even with the overhead speakers, this show was totally fantastic! And Darius Rucker has to come here more often! Terrific stage presentation and together? AWESOME!!!!

  • Where did he go for two songs???

Concert was good. Where did singer go for two songs in the middle of the concert?

The concert was great. Loved the music. The audience could have been more alive though. Stood up for a little but bothered the people behind us! BoRinG! The concert itself wasn't long enough either.

  • Rascal Flatss were AWSOME!!!

Loved the whole show!! Would see them again and again

  • where did Gary LeVox go?

by katherinecalgaryalberta on 2009-11-01Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 4 out of 5

The performace overall was good, with darius it was great. Halfway through Rascal Flatts set lead singer Gary LeVox dissappeared for 3-4 songs. The other band members tried to pull things together and keept he crowd entertained and sang a few songs but cant quite belt out the tunes like gary. "mayberry" just wasnt the same. all in all it felt like Rascal Flatts had a very set show..seemed routine same show different town, but Darius had a very casual go with the flow kind of performance and I would have to say thats what made the night. was very fun!

  • Rascal Flatts & Darius Rucker were a hit!

by Customs on 2009-11-01Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Purple Rain came so unexpected from Darius, but he did an awesome version :) His performance primed the entire audience for Rascal Flatts. I know we will be seeing Darius as the main event soon. Rascal Flatts..what can I say? They were so much fun to watch and hear that you forgot everything but the music. The opening video with the Canadian flag being shown throughout, had the crowd on their feet. Truly a band that I will see again and again.

Great Concert. Although a little bit squeaky at some points. Over all good concert. Opener was fantastic

I've seen Rascal Flatts 4 times now and I think this was the best concert yet. I really liked how they had a large stage which meant more fans had a closer view at certain times in the concert.

  • Better the 2nd time around

    by Gar78 on 2009-10-31Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

This is the second time I have seen Rascal Flatts in Edmonton and it was as good or better than the first time. The only disappointing thing was they only performed 2 songs from their new album. The crowd was great and the show was a lot of fun. I hope they choose to play in Edmonton again very soon!

  • One not to miss

by Lindi on 2009-10-31Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Impressive musically and visually. The musicians seemed to be enjoying themselves and giving of themselves : ie hand touching of those at edge of stage. The stage set up was good as it allowed several diiferent looks. The film and other background was great. The memories section even showed Terry Fox. The violin playing solo "O Canada" was really good. They even thanked us for paying our money in this economy. Darius Rucker who opened was so so good. His keyboard player really impressed me. That Darius wore a white cuff -linked shirt in a casual manner made him seem respectful and layed back at the same time. His songs are very special.

  • Rascal Flatts were terrible

    by mamajammer2 on 2009-10-30Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 2 out of 5

The sound from were we were sitting was terrible. It was so loud that it was practically deafing to the ears. You couldn't really hear what was being sang. They only played for an hour and a half which is too short as far as I am concerned. I just thought then stage set up was low end for a Band that has been around for so long and that makes so much money. Anyway, I was very disappointed in the concert because I really like their music.

The best concert I have ever been to. This night was, without a doubt, the highlight of my life. If you haven't seen them yet...go and do it. You will never regret it.

  • Rascal Flatts w/ Darius Rucker

by uwhockeychick on 2009-10-29Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Opening for Rascal Flatts: Darius Rucker was PHENOMENAL! He played all his new country hit singles, along with a couple of the best Hootie & the Blowfish classics. Great energy and a pleasure to watch! Rascal Flatts were as impressive as always, proving once again why they have been so popular for the last few years. High energy show! Great interaction with the audience as they played all of their most loved songs.

  • Rascal Flatts really know how to put on a show!!!

by wowgirl on 2009-10-29Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

I really loved Rascal Flatts. Darius Rucker was not that good because he muffled his words so I wasn't able to understand him. I Rascal Flatts does know how to put on a show and it was great to see the interaction with the crowd. I would definately go again.

  • The Flatts Rule!!!

by LouLoo on 2009-10-29Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

The only thing that could of made the night better was to meet the guys. Show was fantastic. I enjoyed the variety of songs they performed and the interaction with the audience. I would SO go again!! Come back soon!

  • Rascal Flatts was hard to hear well.

by palacer on 2009-10-29Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 3 out of 5

Last years concert was much better. Although I do enjoy their music greatly, I found the acoustics not clear, making it quite hard to understand what they were saying.

  • Rascal Flatts Rocks!

by Anonymous on 2009-10-29Pengrowth Saddledome - CalgaryRating: 5 out of 5

Great band, got the audience involved. Darius Rucker was awesome as well. The one issue, fans who stand in the seats, and don't sit down when asked politely. Security ought to patrol for fans who are being unruly, and kick them out. why should an innocent person miss the concert because some yahoo is being rude.
