What to say about Rascal Flatts...amazing, they put on a show that was nothing but great. Their voices are stronger than ever, their stage presence is better than ever. It was my second time seeing them and every time the concert is different.

The Rascals were flat! The play list was somewhat "been there done that" and should have included many of their other songs - ones that they did not sing last year when they were in Edmonton, The show was very commercial, their presence very flat and seemed like they were just going through the motions - not because they loved what they were doing. I went with three others and they too felt the same way. It will be a while before I see the Rascals again...perhaps a couple of albums that don't do so well will remind them that they have to make the audience feel like they want to be there!

WOW! The concert was amazing, exceptional. I didn't want it to end, I just loved them. I knew every song they played and glad that they sang a lot of their older songs. Rascal Flats is an amazing group and I have great respect for them. I never knew they were envolved in the wish foundation, which makes me respect them that much more. If they ever come again to Edmonton I am there, depending if I can get tickets of course. This was one of the BEST concerts I have been to in a very long time. THANKS RASCAL FLATS FOR COMING TO EDMONTON!

It was a really awesome show!!!!! The only request I would make is that they would've sang more songs from their new album "Unstoppable"

  • Rascal Flatts rocked the house!

Truly Amazing! I saw them 2 years ago at the same place and they outdid themselves this time! The light show was fantastic. Nice touch singing Oh Canada :) I really liked the way they incorporated Darius Rucker into their show. He did his bit at the beginning but they had him on with them towards the end. My only complaint...could have gone on for another 3 hours! Thanks for the great time guys!!!

Rascall Flatts had excellent sound, backdrop, light show and musical quality. Darius Rucker needs lessons in diction...sings as though he has marbles in his mouth. His backdrop was tragically cheap and tacky. Really did the show a dis-service

This was one of the best concerts I have gone to yet. The music was great and was very well entertained. The fiddler who played o canada was amazing. Darius Rucker is a really good entainer. I will be following his music in the years to come.

  • Love RF wanted more...thought it was a bit short.

by Chickalollipop on 2009-10-27Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

I went to RF 2 years ago and loved, loved, loved that concert. I kind of felt like this concert was a bit of a let down in regards to the length of the concert. They have so many great songs...it would have been nice to hear about another 6 or so of their own songs.

  • Rascal Flatts was alright...just alright

by ADinSP on 2009-10-27Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Overall I enjoyed my Rascal Flatts experience. Darius Rucker was great, and I was so happy when he sang some of his old "Hootie" tunes. The RF opening was very good, and there were certainly some high points--Broken Road was certainly one of them. I thought that the concert was a bit short, and I was disappointed by the "encore"; since they had missed out on a few of my favourite songs, and I thought they might sing them then. The musicianship was great, and the iterlude with the piano was fantastic. I'm not sure that I'd see the concert again though. PS: Our floor seats had an obstructed view, due to the position of the back stage/sound booth. I would have appreciated knowing this ahead of time.

My God can those boys can make some beautiful music. I am so happy that i got the chance to take my daughter for her birthday. She was so happy to see them. Their voices are incredible! Darius Rucker has a new fan in me. I didn't really pay close attention to him before the concert....boy that's gonna change! This concert was so worth the admission...money well spent and memories to last a lifetime. What a great experience!!

  • absolutely awesome

I have seen Rascal Flatts every time they come to Edmonton. Each time they get better and better. This was the first for a meet and greet. They are short and sweet but the guys take time for each person. I would definately go back again and again.

  • Average Flatts?

    by dingo87 on 2009-10-27Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Not sure what it was, but I felt a little let down. The show was good, but I left feeling "meh". Perhaps I was really hoping for more based on the euphoria I felt leaving Keith Urban just a couple months ago. I think Flatts took too long to really get some energy going in the place. For me, that didn't happen until the fiddle "O Canada". That energy then carried through right to the end of the encore. I would have liked that energy middle of the show as well. So yeah, average show this time around (the last time they were here they blew me away).

  • Rascal Flatten the evening

The opener, Darius Rucker was awesome. I knew from listening to his songs on the radio that I liked him. But seeing him live -- I'm a bigger fan. He was great, candid, funny, and personable. The main show opened with a bang and quickly went downhill. I am a Rascal Flatts fan, I enjoy the albums. But I will not be seeing them live again. The show seemed fake, they didn't look like they wanted to be there or were having a good time. And to top it all off at the end of the night they wished British Columbia good night, buddyy you were playing in Edmonton AB -- I'm sure one of the roadies could have told him that. I can't believe I spent that much money on tickets. I guess it was worth it to see Darius Rucker, but I should have left after his performance.

  • Rascal Flatts are AMAZING

    by Karebear80 on 2009-10-27Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

I love Rascal Flatts! They have such an appreciation for their fans and always put on a great show. I've seen them 3 times already and plan to go back every time they are here. I love that they set up their stage to be able to get to all areas in the audience and give everyone an equally good show. Anyone that likes their music should see them at least once!

  • Not what I expected

    by Bird1 on 2009-10-27Rexall Place - EdmontonRating: 3 out of 5

Wow the show really wasn't what I expected. I have seen Rascal Flatts many times, and have totally loved them. But for some reason this time I wasn't completely blown away. It seemed like they weren't on there game. And in some points of the show I'm questioning??? Don't get me wrong I love Rascal Flatts and would see them again. Will always be a big fan. On another note I felt Darius Rucker put on an incredible show. He is a preformer, an outstanding preformer. His part of the show really blew me away. He's feet never stopped moving. Top notch, all song's played by him were great. Coutry music has a star on there hands. Waiting for more from him.

Darius Rucker was a great opener, and the Rascal Flatts were a great way to end the show!
