  • Good golf, parking was a disaster though

by Golf Fan on 2025-06-11TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 4 out of 5

Parking was a disaster. Switching parking lots last minute, traffic to get into the parking took an hour even though it was less than a km away, then the shuttle bus line was another hour to get there due to the parking lot issues. Once at the course, the golf was great, lots of places to sit or walk and watch players. Good viewing areas all over. Washroom were adequate and easy to find one quickly. Food areas were far from each other and ran out quick. Lastly the merchandise tent was very far from everything.

  • Good

The experience was a good one all in all. Transportations to and from the venue was good, not a lot of time waiting or long lines. It was crowded yes, but it was expected for the final round. Food offering was a little on the short side, average. May be I would ask next time to open some more holes for the public to look at.

  • Experience at the Canadian Open

by BigHow on 2025-06-11TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 3 out of 5

Experience at the Canadian Open was good, I purchased the Trophy Club Hospitality tickets, I was disappointed with the method of availability of food which was part of the package. When the food was available it was good, but in my opinion there should always be finger foods available for the patrons.

  • Close but no Cigar - This Year 2025

by Lucas McCain on 2025-06-11TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 4 out of 5

Of course, we were a pair who were told Parking B was full, when it was actually flooded from the Wednesday night rain; and then politely instructed to go to the Red Parking lot. The travel on muddy roads was no fun either. Our time from the Red Parking via bus was reasonable. When we passed the Admission Tent and began asking the volunteers where everything was they were polite when they didn't know and quickly asked a nearby colleague our question. After finding the Driving Range with a Shuttle Cart driver we found that we couldn't get in a planned area for patrons who were over 15 years of age. That aspect of the Tournament setup was and is very poor. Hopefully this will corrected at the TPC Toronto for future Canadian Opens. Unfortunately, it was difficult for us to get around so we were politely asked if we would like to sit in the Hospitality Tent to observe the 12th Hole landing area's drives, pitch shots to the green, and the putting too. In this tent a charming Lady asked us if we would like a cup of coffee and we accepted her offer. After twenty minutes this same Lady apologized that her assistant couldn't find the coffee, and asked if we would like a soft drink. We politely declined. Thank you to the RBC Canadian Open for reaching out to many of us with free parking and free tickets to come back on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We appreciated the offer. This is a major event and we fully expect it will be beautifully handled next year and all the years to come. Thank you RBC Canadian Open.

  • A Fun Day of Golf

by BMaits on 2025-06-10TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 4 out of 5

My husband and I had a fabulous time watching the Canadian Open! We spent a good amount of time following certain players hole to hole. Our only criticism of this process was that there were signs misdirecting to certain greens. We loved spending time in the RBC Avion Grandstand and felt that the food and drinks were delicious and great options (albeit small servings). There were not quite enough free water refill stations as expected for the size of the course, however there were plenty of washrooms. We were disappointed that many of our favourite golfers opted out of the Canadian Open with the US Open just one week later, however the talent was still impressive! We purchased the prepaid parking ticket for an off site lot. Despite what appeared to be a numerous amount of buses going back and forth, we waited 1 hour in line to get back to the lot. After a long day in the heat, that was unfortunate and would be the only part of the day to change for next time!

  • Sam Roberts Band

by BradR on 2025-06-10TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley - AltonRating: 5 out of 5

Sam's performance showed why his band always had a reputation for being such a strong show. Great listening whether vinyl, cd or streaming but several knitches up experienced live. Came home and added more of his songs to my Canada mix.

Watching the golfers hit the ball was amazing. Course was in great shape, and on a perfect day (Saturday). Volunteers were doing a great job. Concessions were a little slow, but otherwise OK>
