From the Standing Ovation at the BEGINNING of the show, to the several other standing ovations, it was a treat from the first bars to the last echos of applause. Chick is truly one of America's all-time great composers; Jean-Luc Ponty is truly the World's Master jazz violinist; Stanley Clarke is about 1,000 feet tall in the Bass guitar department; Lenny White seems to have overcome some demons to beat out the most solid drumming I've ever heard; and their super coolio guitarist low-keyed his fabulous technical skills to support the group rather than dominate it the way most Lead guitarists do. So, to sum up - a truly magical night of fusion jazz, served up piping hot by a Supergroup of unequaled peers! Thanks for the memories!
