Robin Hood was a fabulous show. We went as a family - grandparents, children & grandchildren. The show was enjoyed by all - great humour (clean & current - very clever) for the adults & lots of action for the kids. As Always , the kids loved the participation. Congratulations Ross Petty & cast.

Rating: 5 out of 5by tpckjm on 2010-01-01Elgin Theatre - Toronto Rating: 5 out of 5by HappyGrandpa on 2010-01-01Elgin Theatre - Toronto Ross, you did it again! Going to see "Robin Hood" was a truly memorable and delightful experience! Three generations of our family had a wonderful evening enjoying another Ross Petty Production. There were 6 of us-- 2 youngsters, 2 parents in their 30's and 2 grandparents in their 60's all laughing, booing the Sheriff (Ross) and clapping at the fun filled event. Every year we add more people going to see another Ross Petty Production (we also got tickets for our other offspring and family). Seldom can such a wide age range of people enjoy a performance together and come away with such great memories. Thank You!

by Granmama on 2009-12-31Elgin Theatre - TorontoThanks for asking my opinion. I thoroughly enjoyed the performance of Robin Hood. I have been to the last six productions by Ross Petty and have enjoyed everyone of them and I look forward to the next one. It is a three and a half hour drive for me but it is well worth it.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Hysterically Funny!!
by Maxwel on 2009-12-31Elgin Theatre - TorontoThe show Robin Hood, a Ross Petty Production was fantastic. We knew, my daughter and I that we would enjoy it, but once again the skits, the humour and the music began I was laughing outloud and booing the bad guys in almost equal parts, and I came away from the show feeling better than I had in days. Truly, laughter is the best medicine!
Rating: 5 out of 5 Robin Hood - the Environmental Family Musical
by Jacqueline on 2009-12-31Elgin Theatre - TorontoI attended with my children aged, 9, 13 and 15 and we all loved it! We have been going to the Ross Petty productions for the past 4 years and my daughter, Jacqueline, has participated in the show for the last 3 years. She loves Ross Petty and the entire cast of characters. This has become a family tradition that we will continue to do! Keep up the great work and we're looking forward to the fractured fairytale in 2010! We thoroughly enjoyed the Sheriff and the Nurse characters. We hope the character who played the Nurse returns again next year! We love the Canadian-geared jokes as well as the impromtu lines that are thrown in here and there.
Rating: 4 out of 5by evic on 2009-12-31Elgin Theatre - Toronto Funny and fast pace. Colourful and cunning. Musical and mental. A show to recommend.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Best Play of the Season
by Anonymous on 2009-12-31Elgin Theatre - TorontoMy husband and I go to see Ross Petty's play every holiday season. We first went six years ago and instantly loved Petty's work! This play was no exception! It was hilarious and the humour is always so fitting with the times. We can't wait for next year's production! Plumbum's return was highly anticipated and definitely lived up to our expectations!

Rating: 5 out of 5 Robin Hood is Fantastic
by Luciano on 2009-12-31Elgin Theatre - TorontoWonderful, Fantastic, unforgettable, amazing. Ross Petty is, In my mind, A Genius and briliant. I've seen a lot of his musicals and I always come out saying "WOW". Too bad the shows are not sold out. It is worth watching again and again. The cast is great and they really know how to put on a show. I also loved the way they encorporated their sponsors into the musical. Briliant!!. Great family show. Fantastic play. Briliant Producer. Lovely Cast. I wish it was on longer, maybe some better advertising will sell out the show.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Robin Hood hilariously humorous hit a homerun!
by Sobermom on 2009-12-31Elgin Theatre - TorontoWe just saw Robin Hood yesterday and it was a hit with out entire group. We ranged in age from 7 to 44 and all of us would see it again. Even the sceptical 14 year old with us who at the last minute did not want to come couldn't stop laughing. Ross keep up the good work and keep bringing us such amazing family entertainment. It really added to our holidays to see this fun, amusing musical. My youngest (who is 7) was dancing in his seat through each musical number and everyone had a favorite character in the play. I don't think that I could have picked a better play to watch with my family and have already recommended it to several people even though there are only 5 more shows till it ends! Keep them coming I am definetly looking forward to next years production!

by tombstone54 on 2009-12-30Elgin Theatre - TorontoFantastic entertainment for the whole family. Ross Petty is a genious with his holiday theatre offerings. Extremely strong cast this year with Eva Avila, Jessica Holmes and Yvan Pedneault(We will Rock You). My 4 and 9 year olds enjoyed it as much as I did. I highly encourage anyone to go see this.
Rating: 5 out of 5 Robin Hood has something for everyone!
by Partyof5 on 2009-12-30Elgin Theatre - TorontoOur party consisted of two adults, two 12 yr olds and an 8 yr old... and we laughed all the way through it! Also my 8 yr old son appreciated the rock music, and the the two 12 yr old girls loved Eva Evila and Yvan Pedneault. My sister and I laughed at the adult jokes and were surprised (!) how many of them the 12 years olds understood. Pantomime was a Christmas tradition when I was a growing up and I'm happy to be able to introduce our next generation to live theatre done in such a whole-family friendly way. Even the reserved 12 year old got into the 'boo' 'hiss' calling by the end of the production! Well done, Ross Petty and company. We'll be back!
