Good show, although I thought that we would hear the songs entirely. We heard little parts only. But the crew was good, energetic; it was a feel-good play with a lot of music. Last word, my husband and brother-in-law would have appreciate to get the possibility to take photos with the younger dancers !!!!!
This play was amazing, fabulous, fantastic, unbelievably good, wow, phenomenal...any other adjective that means the same thing! Anyone that loves 80's music will definitely enjoy this show...and even if you don't know the music you would love it. It is high energy mixed with comedy which both men and women will enjoy!
ok, if you grew up on a steady diet of 80s rock music, and you are in NYC, this is an absolute must. its hilarious, the performances are top notch, and the music is spectacular. i saw billy elliott too, which was good, but this was better.
High energy, great fun. Professional actors with amazing voices. We had a great time ... go see it when it comes to a city near you!
This was the most entertaining broadway show Ive ever seen with great music and being delivered alcohol to your seat was great.

Great Songs, great story. Really funny. Sooooo 80's.
The show was just OK. Should be off-broadway. Funny in some parts, not enough. The narrator was the best character. A lot of skin showing, not sure if it was necessary, we got the point. The story line was pretty good.
The other reviews are hilarious, of course it was cheesy, that is like saying that the "Iron Man" movie reminds you of a comic book....but that is not to say that it isn't a fun evening with a lot of great music covered with passion and experience. Well worth it.
I'm not a huge "musical guy". The whole idea of people just breaking into song half-way through a conversation annoys me. Rock of ages is great because it pokes fun at itself/musicals in general, and their typical cliches. If you enjoy any rock from mid 80's, you will love the music. Bottom line, it is an awesome, laugh-out-loud experience that everyone should see. Ladies, if your man refuses to go to musicals (and I understand where they are coming from) this is the one that they will enjoy.
It was a night with numerous fillins. Don't like shows with stars replaced with less qualified singers!
Excellent music, fantastic cast and they get the audience involved.
Rock of Ages was excellent and funny, but please be advised that it is not appropiate for children.

Awesome show. Great music, performed well, and quite humerous. The singing, dancing/acting was all done really well, and with a lot of enthusiasm. Overall the show really rocked! A lot of adult content and language--wouldn't recommend for young children.
We recently attended "Rock Of Ages". We found the performances to be energetic and inspired. The music and singing were memorable. We had lots of fun enjoying this musical trip down memory lane
Both my wife and I enjoyed Rock of Ages. We are in our early 50's but still enjoy the Rock and Metal songs played from the 80's. The live trio of guitarists, drummer and keyboard player were out of this world. The stage sets were great. The cast of singers performed the songs to perfection. The use of the the lighter flashlights brought back fond memories. The only thing missing was the aroma of the Rock Concerts I used to attend. Thanks for bringing back fond memories in a Great Way.

Thoroughly enjoyed by our entire family that included a couple of teenage boys! Performers were fantastic as was the band and music! Great evening out.
Rock of Ages is extremely well done -- from the set design to the acoustics to the live band to the actors! The songs are filled with hooks and they stay with you. The venue is great -- the atmosphere is fun!
