Rock the Rink Tickets

The show started exactly an hour late The skating was eminently forgettable. Nothing new or exciting

We purchased tickets to see skaters. Event started at 8pm. Began with an Indie band out of Toronto. They played, almost incoherently, for 25 minutes. Following this, they announced a 20 minute intermission, which was actually a 35 minute intermission. Skaters started coming out at 9pm. We would have gladly skipped the band and come at 9pm for the skaters, had we known. It started the evening on a very sour note. It was very off-putting. In the description of the event, it should have stated that you were first going to attend an hour of a rock concert, then you would see the skaters. It was all very disappointing. The skaters, on the other hand, were absolutely amazing. What a privilege to see this talent!

I'm thrilled to have seen one of Tessa & Scott's final performances. It was a great show. I could have done with a bit less of Birds of Bellwoods, but otherwise, it was well put together.

We bought tickets for an ice show not a rock concert. After being subjected to a half hour of noise we had to sit thru the ice cleaning and repairs before getting to a very short ice show.

I bought 4 tickets. I was very disappointed that an hour of the performance was going to be spent on a band and dismantling their set-up. Band was way too loud. Skating programs were boring. I was hoping for more costumes and story telling.

LOVED the show. But Place Bell is not organized AT ALL. We arrived late at the event even if we were there 45 minutes earlier. The streets were block because there was too many people. The parking was not well indicated & the ways to pay were not all working. My master card couldn’t be detected. They didn’t take any paper cash. & not all my 2$ or 25c were being taken. When me and my friend arrived in the venue, nobody told us where were our seats. Even if half of the room was empty because of all the traffic outside. We couldn’t find anyone to help us. I WILL NOT RETURN to this venue in the future the staff are not « accessible »

Rock the Rink far exceeded my expectations! From the moment the band (who were awesome - Birds of Bellwood) struck their first chord to the finale with all the skaters on the ice, it was a beautiful choreographed and executed show. Bravo to all!

Having to hear a hard rock band first for thirty minutes and another thirty minutes to clear the ice. Most of the attendance were like us: elderly. Also disappointed at the presentation with the skaters whom were not introduced by their names (except for maybe one couple)? However we enjoyed the skating very much.

If I am being honest, the skating was amazing as usual. However, the band was not that impressive..not sure how they came to select this band?
