Nazareth was Not Nazareth

It was a good weekend but there were some Soso bands
RtR is always a blast, but was disappointed with some of the performances and selections for the 10th anniversary. Best of the best from the past 10 years would have been better. My biggest beef, and this seems to get worse each year, is people dropping off their chairs to "hold their place in line"then leaving their chairs unattended for hours and showing up within an hour of gates opening. I feel lines need to monitored for incidents as these and if chairs left unattended for longer than 15-20 minutes (or reasonable amount of time) they lose their place in line. I don't have an issue with people having several chairs set up in line as more people will be joining them, but someone in their group should be with their chairs the entire time. This should be monitored in conjunction with the venue (Bess) and the organizers (SaskTel Centre).
Harlequin was awesome!!!!!!! Best band Saturday night
Only attended Sunday due to high ticket prices. Toque were the best by far! Aldo Nova was disappointing, sounded like he was having a bad vocal day. Prism wasn’t much better. Drinks and food so expensive (and crappy) that we didn’t even stay for the last band. 5$ for a bottle of water (no refills) on a hot August afternoon in the sun. Really disappointed. Won’t go next year.
Ticketmaster worked on my phone without any issues. Check in staff were efficient. Beautiful weather. Pulled pork bunwich was delicious. I like the idea of drink included with meal tickets. Sound was good. Friendly atmosphere. Great time.
Love the music and venue. The crowd is great and you can’t beat the Atmosphere. I would give 5 stars if there were better food and drink options. No variety there.
We only went Sunday evening. Toque was absolutely amazing. Would like to see more of them. Wish they could have stayed on stage longer. Looking forward to next year!
Well organized , easy to get in , no lineups for refreshments or washrooms . Bands were awesome
All of the bands were exceptional. Toque, Trooper, Harlequin and Prism stole the show. The venue & staff were fantastic. The food choices and quality were not great. Offering popcorn, bagged chips, chicken fingers, pizza, fries, poutine would have gone great with our beverages. Thank you for putting on a great show. We will be back.
