About

With his 1978 No. 1 single, Rod Stewart famously asked the world “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?” 100 million record sales later, it’s safe to say the world answered “Yes.” As one of the top-selling artists of all time, with a career spanning four decades, the British singer-songwriter is one of the most celebrated figures in rock and roll history. The times may have changed, but Stewart’s appeal hasn’t – with his 28th studio album, 2013’s Time, the raspy crooner once again topped the UK Albums Chart – the first time he’d done so since the release of his Greatest Hits Volume 1 in 1979. Stewart got his start as a solo artists in the early ‘70s, achieving his first mainstream success with blues rock hit “Maggie May” from 1971’s Every Picture Tells a Story. In the late ‘70s and early ‘80s, the singer would adopt disco and new wave influences to much success, including the 1978 No. 1 Blondes Have More Fun and 1981’s Tonight I’m Yours, which featured the hit “Young Turks.” On Tour in 2013, Stewart has treated ticket buyers to rollicking sets of his greatest hits, proving that “Rod the Mod” still knows how to give one heck of a live concert.

  • Rod Stewart Review

by Snooks on 2024-09-21OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino - Niagara FallsRating: 5 out of 5

I thoroughly enjoyed his concert from start to finish. I was concerned that the concert may be cancelled because he had Covid as well as strep throat a short time ago. The band was amazing and the young ladies with him were talented as well as gorgeous. I believe the concert ran for 2 hours and Mr. Stewart proved that age is just a number. It was really nice to see him perform his hits and his little quips throughout the show were entertaining. I would go to see him again in a heart beat.

The venue was incredible. I was disappointed that he didn't sing 1 of my favorite songs.. Baby Jane. The length of the show of 2 hours was fantastic. I'm so happy I attended.

It was a high energy and very entertaining concert . Rod is still on top of his game .. His band , back up singers , the stage set , lighting and song set were just perfect . The trek from Toronto to Niagara was well worth it .

Bought my mom tickets for Mother’s Day. She loved the concert! I had fun watching her reaction to the show. The OLG stage is the theatre! All the staff are so helpful, friendly and respectful of the patrons. Can’t remember the last time I saw people smiling and enjoying their jobs. Keep up the great work!
