I have seen Rory' performances many many times and several plaaces in Sask & Manitoba. I saw his first performance at Regina Casino when he and Laurie first began, when she was recording him. He just keeps getting better and better.
Show was not the same caliber Rory usually gives. Although very entertaining and great communication with the audience his voice was not up to par. Great backup band and singers.
Nice Christmas set up on stage making you really feel like the season was upon us .
Rory Allan was fantastic. He involved the audience, showed that he enjoys what he is doing and is passionate about his role. He is a talented musician with stage acting skills. He was able to put himself in a different role after intermission with a switch from the GI Blues to the Las Vegas Show. I would have liked to go back for the gospel singing Sunday afternoon. The show was entertaining and well worth the price. I would go back to see him again when he comes back to Winnipeg.
Rory Allen is always, entertaining and truly does Elvis proud. I have seen him four times now and have always enjoyed the show. I highly recommend anyone who is an Elvis fan to take time out to enjoy this event. He will not disappoint. I particularly like the part where he pulls someone on stage with him and sings to them, as well as where he hands the scarfs out as he's singing. I know he's not the real thing and he doesn't claim to be, but it is like living a long lost dream or the next best thing to be sitting in the audience admiring such a great inspirational singer. Great looking, gentle, kind, genuine soul... Thank you Mr. Rory Allen!
Excellent show, Found the second half better then the first, personal preference.
Rory Allen did a bank up job. His voice is excellent. Close your eyes and you would think that Elvis is singing to you.
Rory is an incredible performer. He is funny and talented. He doesn't pretend to be Elvis but sings tributes to him as he was a star. His own music is catchy and worth buying. He is one of the best.
Very entertaining except for the screemer in the row of tables behind. That detracted from the overall enjoyment of the show. Lots of tunes I could sing along with, witty when talking to the audience, band was awesome. Enjoyed the new song Margarita, Margarita, very catchy. Rory always does a great show and I've always enjoyed it.
We all enjoyed the music. Rory looks a little like Elvis, but his moves are nothing like Elvis's. He needs to practice those quite alot. Sorry about that but i have to be honest. His singing was very good and he did sound like Elvis most of the time. The scarf thing was nice to see, but of course not enough scarves as they are expensive. Overall I did enjoy the show, but once was enough.
