  • Disappointed

    by DaveW64 on 2024-10-16BC Place - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Very disappointed with support at this event, the pinnacle of women’s world rugby with only 4000 people. Especially as it had built as a winner takes all Canada v England showdown. Limited food sites available, not all open and only one side of venue. There was no pre warning of limited availability with 5 hours to show the 2 games

  • Well worth the entry price

by TomS on 2024-10-16BC Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Two international matches one of which went right down to the wire for under $50 is remarkable value. Saying that at BC place the pricing at different bars is varied we got stung at around $36 for two Molsons. Next bar along was $10 a beer.

  • Black Ferns 🖤

by Tuss on 2024-10-16BC Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Go Black Ferns Go! 🖤🖤🖤 I'm saddened to learn that Women's Rugby 🏉 does not receive as much recognition & funding as hockey does. I enjoyed the game, I'm glad the Maori Women maintain their strong & rich culture performing the Hakka. I love that they won!!

  • Great games, poor venue

    by 1986 on 2024-10-16BC Place - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

The rugby games were amazing, but BC place was a total letdown. On the Friday, the beverage people were rude to us, telling us they were shutting down a bar because "you should have bought drinks earlier."Then on the second day, the day with two games, a bunch of food options were shut down leading to poor variety of food available .

  • Great event but BC Place stadium was too big

    by Martin H on 2024-10-15BC Place - VancouverRating: 3 out of 5

Why oh why did you not hold this event at Starlight Stadium in Langford? The biggest number of spectators was the final match Cda vs England with approx. 5,000 spectators, which could have easily been accommodated in Langford, the home of Rugby Canada. Why hold all matches in empty larger stadiums on the Mainland with no atmosphere, rather than the buzz of a full stadium, like we used to do when Women's Rugby Sevens used to be so successfully played in Langford?

  • Good event, difficult access

by Slice on 2024-10-15BC Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Rugby games top notch. Good viewing, enthusiastic spectators. Experience with Ticketmaster website not good. Slow, complicated, confusing. This software could use a complete renovation or replacement. By contrast, Amazon can market a much greater volume of more varied goods with a streamlined, user-friendly website. We would not use Ticketmaster if there was any alternative.

  • Amazing Event

I went to the opening and closing days of the WXV1 tournament. It was fantastic, there was great rugby and I lovedthe fact I got to see several international womens teams play.

  • A fun event

  • Rugby

Being a senior walking with a cane, I was pleased with the service. I was escorted at the entrance of BC place to the elevator and then my seat. All the workers were friendly with big smiles and happy to do their jobs. I liked the large screen to see the games. I liked watching the young kids coming from the Comox Valley. Lots of fun watching the regular games.

  • Loved It

    by Sarah A on 2024-10-03BC Place - VancouverRating: 5 out of 5

Great space and loved the gluten free/vegan menu online. Games were well spaced out so going to two felt manageable. Great seats (C rows) for a great price and great view of the end zone
