This concert was amazing!! John Legend opening for the legendary Sade was the perfect start to an awesome concert!! Both artists have raw talent and incredible range and power in their voices and they were able to capture thousands of fans in a big venue (ACC). Toronto loves them both and I'd go and see them again in a heartbeat!!
Awesome show - she looked and sounded great. Set was cool, as were the many clothing changes. Great that she covered all of the hits with a mix of the new album. 2 hours on stage - amazing.
The standard was maintained. It was magical, classy and smooooooove.

Sade rocked the stage with her cool cozy smooth songs backed up by her talented musicians and killer songs this 52yr old beauty still has her diamonds sparkling bright. Sade started with her new track Soldiers of Love and did most of her signature hits my favorite "Is It A Crime" always bring a tear to my eye. As an admitted Sade fanatic I must say she sounded powerful at the ACC belting out high octaves one of another with delight. I love this woman! She is truly unique mistress of her domain not a follower but a true creator. There is nothing I can say negative about the show it was simply superb!
I only listened to Sade songs on CD before. It was amazing to see her in live concert. She is an extraordinary performer and a beatiful singer. I don't think that the participation of John Legend was really necessary but this is my personal opinion.
Simply put, Ms. Sade Adu is a talented artist who gets better and better with time. It's been 10 long years since her last visit to Toronto, but the time melted away when she started singing. Her voice, the lights, the set, the band (The band is tight.), the crowd, everything just fell into place magically. She even changed the lyrics to "Is it a Crime?" to pay tribute to the city of Toronto (Well, lake Ontario) and that was a sweet touch. (Yes, they pobably do that in every city, but it was a nice gesture and I ate it up) Definitely worth seeing again & hopefully Sade will be back before another 10 years goes by.
Sade is a timeless artist. The concert was so simple, yet magical. Her voice is as pure as it was 20 years ago. Thank you Sade and John Legend for a great concert overall.
Wow, I am so glad we got to see this woman sing in person. Her music is timeless, her style is super smooth and her sultry presentation makes it all the more alluring. Kudos to the sound-tech as well. I saw Elton John over a month ago, and the sound was too loud... couldn't even enjoy the songs. The sound at the Sade concert on the other hand, was crisp, clear and concise, with just the right amount of bass. This woman is truly a 'must see' for anyone who enjoys seeing a true artist. When I saw Beyonce I felt like I was watching a robotic Vegas show but watching Sade unveil a sense of warmth and poise will leave you feeling comfortable, relaxed yet enthralled all at the same time. While she left out a couple of songs which I was looking forward to hearing, ie 'Cherry Pie', I highly recommend this concert for anyone who truly appreciates and is an aficionado of a highly skilled vocalist. Bravo!
Overall the concert was excellent! Sade's performance was absolutely amazing, stellar vocals, and stunningly beautiful! The band was top notch and each song was performed exactly like the recordings and videos to a T! The only disappointment about the concert was the overuse of the skirting surrounding the stage for projection purposes. A great effect but overdone and at times blocked the view of the audience from where I was sitting. The audio mix was well done with the exception of the vocals (Sade's in particular) that were hard to hear. John Legend is amazingly talented with strong soulfull vocals, great vocal range and dynamics, solid band, great horn section, and backup vocals however again the vocals were not separated enough in the audio mix. and at times the vocals were overpowered by the instruments. I would love to see this show again! The special effects were outstanding! Would love to hear a more improved audio mix!! Cheers!!

Awesome is the word! From the beginning to the end. The show opened right on time at 7:30 by John Legend. This guy can and will have his own show soon. He entertained us for about an hour At about 9:00, Sade started here show and it was like thunder, literally. She is amazing and very sexy! She must have changed clothes 4 -5 times during the 2 hour non-stop mega show. It's worth every penny. Great concert! .
Her class and pureness is something that doesn't exist in this music business anymore. A true loyal solider in the game and easily proved it Tuesday night. She's a queen a what she does. I can't believe she's 52 and still going at it. All her songs were classics and every scream were like real cries. Very refreshing to witness. God Blessed you Sade. Thank you.
I had waited 10 years to see Sade (missed the concert in 2001) and I was not disappointed. Sade was flawless! Her sultry voice resonated the ACC. Her band was fabulous especially the sax player. A great set of songs along with the excellent videos in the background and on the "curtain" that came down around the stage made for an excellent evening.
Opening act John Legend was excellent & Sade was simply perfection.
Great concert! Sade's voice is beautiful and the production was just amazing. The band payed all the expected songs. Loved it!
The entire show was so mature and elegant as expected from such an icon of music. Her voice remains that unmistakable sound that we have come to love over the years. The fact that this doesn't happen often, makes even more special.

A long way to travel for a concert but Sade did not disapoint. She was spectacular. Her voice was magical, the show was captivating and she played all her amazing hits and more!! Wonderful night!
