When Sarah Millican was a bairn, she wouldn't say boo to a goose. Quiet at school, not many friends, no boobs til she was 16. Now? NOW she is loud, with good friends, a cracking rack and goose booing all over the shop. In Late Bloomer, Sarah's brand-new stand-up show, she explores how one became the other. Plus, lots of stuff about dinners and lady gardens.
Sarah is one the UK's and, in recent years, the world's most well-loved touring comedians. A hard-working live performer Sarah has toured with six live shows since 2010, which in total, have been seen by over 1.3 million people.
Away from her live work Sarah is known for hosting three series of her critically acclaimed BBC2 series The Sarah Millican Television Programme, for which she received two BAFTA nominations.
Sarah is a Sunday Times bestselling author with her debut book, How To Be Champion, and in 2016 founded the Standard Issue podcast - a smart, funny magazine-style show made for women by women.
I'd have gone back for a 2nd show - both ladies were fantastic
I haven’t laughed so hard in months!! Sarah and Sally-Anne make a great combo for some adult fun! Thank-you for being you, we all need it ❤️❤️
Saw Sarah on TV, knew we would be in for a great evening. Laughed the whole show - and related to so many of her observations. Great time had by all - standing ovation!
Sarah was wonderful, seat was great however I had a difficult time hearing her and I was on the floor 6 rows back from the stage.
She did not disappoint us…what a FABULOUS Show! Could not stop laughing. Thanks for coming to Canada 🇨🇦
This was a great venue - as intimate as 900 people can be - Sarah did not disappoint - having watched snippets of previous routines, I worried they were the highlights and trailers - with a bunch of MEH in between…. But that is not the case at all. Her interactions with the audience made it even more amazing, her impromptu humour is fantastic! It’s no wonder everything has been a sell out!
I laughed so much I'm still sore three days later. Great opener (Sally Ann), fabulous main act (Sarah). So pleased to have a chance to see excellent British comedy live in Ottawa. I hope we get to have more of their top acts here. I had seen Sarah on many TV programs, including QI, and attended some of her pandemic online showcases for young performers, a great thing to do for others. She didn't disappoint in person!
Timing was perfect post pandemic to go out on the town. This night was a gift for my sister's birthday and I may have benefited the most:) I had never heard of Sarah Millican before but now I can't stop talking about her. Thank you so much for bringing the stage back to life, have an incredible tour.
An excellent stand up comedy show by two ladies without pretence! Sarah Millican presents the foibles of the life of a modern woman, viewed from slightly off center; which makes one think while (and after) laughing.
Amazing performances by Ms. Millican and her support/opener. Sound quality amazing, seating amazing, comfort amazing, friendly and helpful staff and volunteers, so many unique seating areas while waiting for the doors to open. Just simply a wonderful experience all the way around!
First time seeing this stand up comedian and was worth it! She had the audience laughing from beginning to the end of the show. My face hurt as I laughed so much. I will definitely try seeing her again if she comes back to Ottawa! Loads of laughs.
Great show. A afternoon of laughs. I was prepared for Sarah’s humour as I’ve watched many of her videos. Great seeing her in person and would go again.
Sarah started her show on time, and made us belly laugh right from the first minute. She includes the audience bringing in a personal touch to the show making you feel included. The length of the shiw was good. We had an opening act that was good but Sarah is the star. Had a fantastic night!
Laughed for over 2 hours. Sarah is a hilarious comedian
Hilarious show, she is a seasoned comedian whose jokes are relatable. The time passed so quickly, i wish it could have been longer. It was so much fun to attend and i can hardly wait until the next time I get to see her.
Went to see Sarah Millican Oct 24 @ 4pm show. She was an absolute delight. Non-stop laughs. Sarah has a way to be funny, crude, silly, heartfelt in everything she talks about. I love how “real” she is about being a woman. She is definitely the “Bobby Dazzler” ❤️ Will 1000% buy tickets to see her perform again.
Sarah Millican is relatable, real, and truly funny from start to finish. My face and belly hurt from laughing so hard. I’ve seen comedians many times before… I can honestly say Sarah Millican put on the best comedy show I have ever attended.
Laughed so hard my abs hurt. Tears running down my face. Would go again in a heartbeat.
We waited months for the show after buying the tickets and she did not disappoint!! It took us 2 1/2 hrs to drive into Toronto for the show and believe me Sarah Millican is worth it. She is potty mouthed and absolutely hilarious. She starts the show by saying wherever she goes she wants to know when she’ll be leaving to be able to take her bra off. Then off she goes. No politics just a collection of hysterical stories and tidbits that make you think and laugh with her. She is only touring Canada for a short time but I’m telling you join her fan page and find out when she’s coming back and make sure you get tickets. Well worth the money, the wait, the drive and whatever else you have to do to see her!! Can’t wait until she returns.
I went to the show with girlfriends and laughed so hard my face hurt!
