    Delayed

    by Beemer81 on 2023-03-15Meridian Hall - Toronto

We arrived to having to wait in a huge line. The show was about to start and security was WAY behind in getting everyone in the theatre. Thus we weren’t able to see the opening acts because of this delay.

    mediocre

by fox on 2023-03-15Meridian Hall - Toronto

While there were a few good laughs it was clear she was using this a practice round for her upcoming Special. Some jokes hadnt been finished yet and there was no segway between many jokes. Not her best work.

    Great show!

    by Chug_venkatesh on 2023-03-15Meridian Hall - Toronto

I had never watched her before, so I found her absolutely hilarious! The only thing that could do with some improvement is Meridian Hall because the show was supposed to start at 8pm and at 8:15 there was still a line outside (it was freezing cold!!). Organizers could have done a better job at quickly getting everyone inside; the security checks were too slow

    Meh

by Laughing Girl on 2023-03-15Meridian Hall - Toronto

I was very excited for this event. Really did not appreciate that the show began 30 minutes late. Given it was just one opening comedian before Sarah, what could possibly have taken so long, and at least apologize. Show respect for your audience. The show itself? A few funny lines undermined with “shock” humour that doesn’t really cut it. Plus both acts used notes. Is this a thing now? When we go see a play, we don’t want to see actors holding scripts. George Burns was 105 and memorized his lines. Why can’t younger comedians?

Both the opener and Sarah had weak humor, too much political bias, was reading jokes off a paper sheet it goes on and on

Funny minus the crowd shouting out

by music4life89 on 2017-04-26Casino Rama Resort - Rama

Sarah was pretty funny I was pleasantly surprised I didn't necessarily have high expectations after reading some of the reviews on here. However it was a nice show she performed for over an hour and the topics were very funny. However at Casino Rama we were sitting in front of some drunk girls on a bachelor party and everyone within the vicinity was very annoying with how these girls were acting. They continue to call out and shouted out things that the performers clearly couldn't hear but they continue to do so anyways interrupting all those around them. It did affect the enjoyment of the show for many people around and one person did say something to them. By the time they finally got the hint and left the show is almost over. It would be nice if the casino had offers and security that walked around 2 enforce their policies.

    Hilarious show

by MarjanJ on 2017-04-25Casino Rama - Toronto

We saw her in April of 2017 in Casino Rama. She was really funny and we were laughing pretty much the whole time. Her material was really smart. She was able to make some really hilarious and significant points just by saying one or two words or sometimes just her tone. It was a great show. I would definitely go see her again. I just hope next time she chooses a venue in or closer to the city.

Sarah Silverman - Not for Everyone

by Seabass8 on 2017-04-24Casino Rama Resort - Rama

Security was tight, many paid duty police and lots of security and checks just to get into the venue. This is not typical for this venue, so it was already a turn off. She did address this during show that security was her fault and that, "she's not for everyone." Really don't think much of the crowd enjoyed the show. She seemed disorganized and often referred to her notes on a legal pad. I usually like events at Rama but in this case, No.

    Great Show

by CJYeah on 2017-04-24Casino Rama Resort - Rama

I laughed so hard - Sarah Silverman has such amazing stage presence and timing. Hilarious delivery, very dirty and at the same time relatable. Her talent is incredible. The venue was great too - we had floor seats 15 rows back and could see her quite well, and the 2 big screens gave excellent close up views of her performance. I'd see her anytime, and I would return to Rama for more events.

    Expected More

by Troublemaker987654321 on 2017-04-24Casino Rama Resort - Rama

It seemed like the audience paid for her to test new material and some of it bombed. She danced out of the awkwardness but any time a comedian is reading a checklist of their jokes tells me I paid to much. She also forgot she was in canada because there were a few jokes that needed a Canadian conversion that were met with crickets.

We traveled from Toronto to Windsor (4hr drive) to see Sarah Silverman. I generally really like her, especially on twitter/acting/etc...however her show was a very big let down. She was very under prepared - almos scattered. Just read off of the notepad. Her jokes didnt jive. I wouldnt pay again to see her again in concert. ever.

An Hour Wasted that I'll Never Get Back!!!

by BdayGurl on 2017-01-22Colosseum Caesars Windsor - Windsor, ON

Hubby and I went for my birthday and she was a huge disappointment! What was a shame was that we paid full price as we bought tickets a couple months before the show, only to be offered free tix later on. I guess that was an indication not a whole lot of tickets were sold. We wished we got the free tix instead and save our money. She was practicing new material on the crowd which got half laughs and they were pretty tasteless jokes. We can handle crude but she was just boring and really disappointing. Felt like walking out but we paid for the damn tix! She seemed scattered and nothing flowed. Had a notepad with her list of new material and she was trying to gauge the time to fit 1 hour. People who paid should have got their money back for a crap show! Don't waste your time or money.

    Boring and Disappointing!

by Wingsfanman on 2017-01-18The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Attended Sarah's show at Caesars Windsor on Saturday, Jan. 14/17 and to say the show was disappointing would be an understatement! I am familiar with her act and was looking forward to seeing her in person. She appeared unprepared, read her act from a notepad! and seemed distracted and unfocused. I think I laughed once or twice in her 1 1/2 show. The warm-up act was like watching paint dry and his dull, dry style made it feel like he had a bus to catch. I should have asked for a refund!

    Sarah Silverman unprepared

by Birdman99 on 2017-01-17The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

Very poor showing-obviously not prepared. Just a practice run for her special coming up. Too bad because I think she is usually funny. My wife and I spent $140 on tickets. A waste of money. Felt disrespected somewhat-that's the best you can do for us?

Not worth it! Waste of money

by 2Shelby on 2017-01-17The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

It felt like a total waste of money! We paid full price and people with free tickets were walking out the entire performance!! She was using it as a practice run, she had notes and was jumping from topic to topic as she was seeing how the crowed reacted. The show didn't have any flow at all. Most of it was ok her normal stuff but some was way to vulgar !

Sarah was very entertaining. Even though she was sick during the show she still pulled through for the fans. She told very funny stories that would lead to an unexpected laugh
