Funny. Poignant. Touching. Entertaining. And then I have no words for the last number that brought me to tears for some reason. Just awesome

Sasha Velour did such a variety of different types of numbers, and my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing. But her book is also really informative and I was I enjoyed the readings and insight about drag, it's history, and its celebrated presence in culture in so nany ways throughout time.

Sasha does something that I haven’t seen any other drag queen doing. She has her own style and presentation. Loved the show.

We really enjoyed the show, and the individual performance elements were very well done. We would have appreciated a more unified thematic experience though, which could have been added by having a director with an eye toward giving the show a well-defined dramatic arc - this would definitely have given the show even greater emotional impact.

What a beautiful production this was! It took a total of 4 people to make this show happen and that is amazing for what was produced. Beautiful imagery and a great message behind the show. It is a must see! The chair number was perfection!

This was literally life-changing. I have never seen any show (drag or otherwise), as captivating, spell-binding, or as inspiring as Smoke & Mirrors. If I ever have the chance to see this or another iteration, I’ll go again, with everyone I know.

Would have been even nicer in the concert hall. While the seating was more intimate, getting into our seat in the balcony required some finesse as well as courage since seats were small and rows very steep with no railings to hold onto. The sound was too loud for the second half of the show and sounded very muffled and not clear as they were just blasting the volume. Volume does not make up for lack of quality!! Sasha was an excellent performer and smoke and mirrors was an excellent title for the illusions performed. Would have loved to have a meet and greet afterwards!

Sasha was smart, sexy, and all smoke & mirrors! The best drag I’ve seen, one of the best theatre shows I’ve ever seen hands down. Don’t miss it if you have the chance

This was equal parts art installation, therapy session, dance party. Sasha has been a favourite for years , but truly only a QUEEN can command this level of attention for 2 hours

The only 2 things I wish were different: I wish it were longer, and I wish I could’ve afforded to sit in the front row. This show was MUCH greater than the sum of its parts - and each part was fantastic. Well worth every penny.

Absolutely loved this show. I’ve been my share of drag performances and this one was exceptional. My favorite highlights would be the authentic and intimate sharing from Sasha, the amazing costume, hair and makeup and the conceptual approach that really brought the artistic and performance art to the forefront. I really have nothing bad to say! Love love love!

Oh em gee where do I begin? LOVED this show. Fell in love with sasha on drag race and the story she tells in her show keeps you captivated Highly recommend!

Sasha is a true artist. A one-Queen show of this caliber has never been done and no show will ever compare.

Wow is all I can say. Smoke & Mirrors was perfection from beginning to end and I have never been moved like that by a performance. It was true art and Sasha is doing extremely important work.

Other than not getting a ‘magic show’ that I was expecting it was a good show all the same. Funny, upbeat, informative and supportive - the perfect venue for such a show!

Words can’t describe what an amazing show Sasha Velour has curated for the audience. The beautiful costumes, artistic projections, and show stopping performances has made this one of the best shows I’ve attended this year.

Something you probably haven't seen, or will see again. Its rare to see a drag queen give an all-ages performance, but Sasha is very inspirational and uses mixed media to tell her wonderful story.

Sasha is by far the sweetest drag queen (or person in general) that I have ever met. She didn’t rush anyone during the VIP experience - even when I was the second last person in line to meet her. She even braved the Winnipeg weather like a trooper! Smoke and Mirrors is absolutely spectacular!!! Everything from the visual effects, humour, musical score, Sasha’s speeches etc. - incredible! There are no words to fully describe this experience. It is a must see! I’ve been to many shows and the only other show that I’ve enjoyed this much is Carmina Burana. Sasha is a magical and talented person. Please come back to Winnipeg, we love you!

Sasha bleeds creativity! Her show is filled with amazing music, graphics and beauty! She's a cerebral Queen so her performance entertains all audiences! I took my boyfriend with me and he thought he wasn't going to enjoy himself but he had a really good time. Sasha is generous and inviting during the meet and greet. She gives each person her complete attention and makes everyone feel important.
