Good hockey game loud crowd. clean arena close game.
Although it didn't beat an attendance record, watching the Blades beat their franchise record was fantastic! Thanks to Home Depot for the noise makers, it really added some extra fun to the game. The arena was quite clean and all the staff very friendly. Great times all around.
Considering the poor start the Blades had this season I was pleasantly surprised by the end result in this one. Seems to me that most of the team has bought into the tick-tac-toe play as apposed to the skate till you drop mentality. Cool as ice and maturity was the theme of the night. Was expecting more game time splash for the 25th...oh well, guess I'll just have to be content with the $2.50 hotdog and drink special.
Great to see the high attendence. And fun with having the Super Fan getting the crowd cheering. Our hockey team was playing well. CUC should have a few more promotions like what they did here. Would always like to see the arena as full as it was Saturday night.
I watch triple A hockey all the time and the blades game I found to be slower paced with less hitting and fighting. I would choose triple A hockey over the whl anyday!
We enjoyed the hockey game but I was very frustrated with the concession staff. I ordered a jalapeno pretzel and was given a regular pretzel. The worker just argued with me and would not exchange it for what I ordered. There was zero customer service given to me!!!! CUC can not afford to replace my pretze? Not impressed!
Good game! Good Seats. Easy to book seats on line.
It was a fabulous game! All of the line ups, whether it was getting into the rink or waiting in a food line, moved very quickly! The Blades entertained once again!!! Ukranian dancers and food was also a real bonus:)
Great night out - first time at a game at the CUC. It was our son's 8th birthday and we won him a bobblehead to boot! Even though the Blades lost, he had a great time! Here's to many more in our new "home town"
Had a great time, Blades put a great show despite the loss.
11-5? Fights? Linebrawl? Now that's old time hockey. My family really enjoyed the game. A rivalry like the Blades and Raiders is fun to watch. Getting our picture with the Stanley Cup was just icing on the cake.
Blades games are always a good time! Especially when we win!
Very good game awesome facility! Blades won so made it even better to watch.
Good game - just wrong team won. Blades started strong but the speed of Vancouver dominated after the 1st.
Good Game, started a bit slow but the Blades came through. 4th period really exciting.
The game was awesome, what we saw of it. It is unfortunate that we missed most of the first period as we were stuck in the long line-up to pickup our tickets purchased on ticketmaster.ca. The line-up was down the stairs and way down the side walk. We left our house in the city at 6:00 (an hour before puck drop) and didn't get to our seats until after 7:30. The parking and traffic were bad enough but then when we had to wait in a lineup to get our tickets. One would expect CUC to know (based on ticketmaster sales) that there was going to be a large line-up that they would have staffed it with more than two individuals, at one pick-up location. BOOO CUC, Yeah Blades!!
I was surprised at the score, because the game certainly was more entertaining than that. Saskatoon definitely had more going for them that night, but when we went to Prince Albert for game 3...the same happened for their team. Home team really seems to have an advantage. I was disappointed that the 50/50 was drawn so late in the game. We didn't hear if it was claimed or not, so that leaves us all wondering as we left the Credit Union Centre.
This is just a WHL game and seeing it at the Credit Union Centre was terrible~! The crowds were brutal and line ups unreal!
I enjoyed the hockey and the outcome. I didn't enjoy the drunken behaviour (the guy in front of me had eight or ten beers, at least, and he got louder and his language more foul with each one. I had teenage kids with me. It wasn't what I wanted them to see or hear. I can't imagine going to another Blades game. I also didn't enjoy the feet on the back of my seat over and over again. No one seems to care about this anymore.
With over 10,000 fans - the stadium was rockin'! The atmosphere was electric and the game was great. We got our tickets with only a couple hours to spare and our seats were incredible! Fully satisfied in the experience.
