    Weiland!

by Derifer on 2014-07-31The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Concert itself was great! He's a total showman, rocked the Danforth for sure. His set list was good, only one cover but it would have been nice if he played something off his solo cds. That was a bit disappointing. Lots of STP songs, Velvet Revolver, good tunes. We also did the meet and greet...that I would give 1 star to. It was supposed to be before the show, then it was after the show. He seemed totally disinterested...and under the influence (which I expected) but it was a let down. At least seem to care about the fans who wanted to meet you. That part was brutal but I'm glad I met him. Been a fan a really long time.

I thought it was great to be able to get 2 for 1 tickets for floors! It was my lucky day!! Until I got to the show....then I realized it was 19+ ONLY!! I was excited because my daughter and I both wanted to see Scott live without the hype of STP or VR. Then I was disappointed as we approached the doors as security asked my daughter for ID. We wouldn't be able to go in because she just turned 16 in June. I understand the 19+ rule and only wished I had seen that when I bought the tickets. But I have gone to see lots of more obscure bands playing at different locations where alcohol was being served and they have the wristband in effect. It's not like my daughter was going to drink, neither was I, or do anything else illegal. Even though Scott is known to smoke on stage (and that is illegal in TO) but it was a no go for us. So I sold my tickets to a scalper for $5 each in hopes that someone else could've enjoyed the show because we certainly couldn't. Next time you come to TO, Scott, I hope you play at The Opera House or somewhere where they have the wristband in effect for your younger fans to be able to see you play!!

    Great show!

by jacqlynn on 2014-07-22The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

Read bad reviews about this show in other cities. Mentions of Scott being in bad shape, coming on late, forgetting words, etc. Was very nervous. Don't know if these reviews were all simply untrue or if we just had a good night but he was in top form. Seemed relaxed, voice was great and as entertaining as a front man should be. Rest of the band was fabulous as well.

    Scott Weiland was amazing

by Anonymous on 2014-07-07Encore - Edmonton

Honestly one of the best concerts I have ever been too. Great venue , we were able to have a booth and our own personal space the entire time. Scott was amazing and the sound was incredible. Loved that I was able to have STP, velvet and his stand alone songs all in one concert!

7 STP, 3 VR, a bowie cover of "the jean genie" & 3 new songs made for a good night of mixed songs. The dead city dolls were good too...
