Awesome....loved the pipers. Clan Avenue was neat and I loved the Empire cookies. The dancers were very good too.
Excellent program. If you like bagpipes it was the place to be. It stirred my Scottish Heritage
The show was terrific. A few tears were shed and sure hope they come back soon .I cannot say enough about the entire cast as each and every one performed to the ultimate. I also thank you for the reserved parking spot, as a senior walking from some unknown parking spot was going to be scary. Thanks
It was very entertaining enjoyed the rock band and pippers. Seating terrible uncomfortable, but the view was good
An excellent mixture of Scottish music from a Scottish folk-rock band with traditional pipes and drums supplied by a Canadian pipe band. I hope more celtic shows like this are on their way!
Unfortunately, there were no programmes and so I am unable to name any specific performers. The pipers and dancers were excellent as was the MC. The celtic group (name?) has great potential, with excellent individual performers like the singers, fiddler, piper, drummer, guitar players, etc. However, the electric guitar player, although talented, spoiled the overall effect by playing too loudly and wandering around the stage with the chord becoming a tripping hazard for the pipers marching on stage. He (and their piper) seemed to want to run the whole show and be centre stage which is not a good quality to watch. (A little humility and subtlety goes a long way!) As a result it seemed to make the others play louder and shout to be heard. It would have been a good idea to let the very talented fiddler have a solo or two and the singers sing alone at times with quieter accompanying music.
The pipe bands were excellent. Brought tears to our eyes. But the ekeltic rock band was a little too loud although I loved the piper, what a character. I would have liked the drums and pipes to have been highlighted much more.
An excellent event with a fabulous pipe band, highland dancers and Scottish music. I only wish the emcee had announced the names of the tunes they played. Anyway we can find out the program somewhere?
Amazing show. Lived up to my expectations and more! Would love to see them back again for a week in order to accommodate those you could not make it on the one night featured.
