    Scream-what?

by Chancing on 2011-10-23Edmonton EXPO Centre - Edmonton

This event has great marketing. You expect much more then what you actually get. It was quite "cheezy" I would not go again for sure. I would however send my teenage nephew. It is a very young person event. Not for adults.

    UNREAL.

by JonZ on 2011-10-13Expo Centre - Edmonton

I am so excited for this year's event. Last year, all of the people walking around acting scared the crap out of me, and I was particularly impressed with their commitment. Every person in the houses was on their game and I was severely impressed. Very stoked to see what they bring this year.

    Screamfest worth the Scream!

by JonnyAppleseed on 2010-11-02Edmonton EXPO Centre - Edmonton

Screamfest was an overall amazing experience. everything was very well organized. Line's, although at times looked long, were always moving fast. The entertainment was great, gruesome and exciting! The haunted houses could have been scarier in my opinion, but I heard a lot of screaming from other people. I will definitely go back next year.

Maybe little kids would be scared. This was not what I was hoping it would be. I spent more time in line than I did in the haunted house

    Screamfest was no scream

by wowmom on 2010-11-01Edmonton EXPO Centre - Edmonton

The first haunted house was the only thing worth seeing. It was more of a teenage hangout. Definitely not worth the $20 plus the rip off for the parking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    It scared me!

by scaredycat on 2010-10-30Edmonton EXPO Centre - Edmonton

Scream fest was absolutely terrifying! I only ended up going to 2 of the 5 haunted house because I was so scared. My friends went to all 5. They said they enjoyed it for the most part except if you had a slow crowd in front of you, you saw all of the scary stuff before it happens. The games were fun, some of them were hard to win but it wasn't bad. The spider one was the best. It was neat how they had "creatures" walking around the grounds scarying people.

5 haunted houses in a small space, not good. With too many people it was so crowded, no room to walk around. The line ups were way too long. We stood in line for 45 min.s and it took 2 min.s to walk through the small haunted houses. We did not go through all of the haunted houses, would have taken hours. We left after seeing only 2 haunted houses.

My boyfriend and I went on a double date (everyone in their mid-20s) and when we first arrived we were a bit skeptical after looking around. We watched the entertainment (Ryan Stock) and he was fantastic - the stuff he did was great and he had an amazing on-stage presence. Then we went into our first haunted house (the zombie one) and weren't really blown away. Then we went to the next one (the black hole) and things got a lot better from there and everything turned out to be totally worth it! I'm not really scared easily but it was hilarious watching the other 3 I was with get scared. My favourite house was the insane one (but no spoilers here!) We also thought the people walking around the show scaring others were pretty great too - especially "The Ring" looking girl - she was fantastic! I was also impressed with the games because they weren't really expensive and the prizes were pretty decent!! Again, the entertainment was great. We wish we could've watched more because he only did about 10 minute segments every half-hour and we wanted to watch the "450lb contortionist" but we had already been there for over a couple of hours and it was time to go. But all in all...it was great!! Lots of fun!!
