    Not so sensational...

by Anonymous on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

Cool atmosphere based on the fact that everyone is dressing in white and the stage set up was pretty cool. However music more or less continued on one deep progressive RAVER type beat with no real attention to the SEXY and. I can't imagine anyone not on a pill lasting more than two hours grooving to the same beat more or less. But above all the most disappointing was the lack luster stage show. I was hoping for cirque du soliel meets IBIZA.. but all I got was a few side show Toronto go go dancing jelly fish. Too bad cause the idea is there.. but the execution is WEAK... Save your MONEY.. worth $50 at best.

    Not quite Uebersensational .....

by cdnwolf on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

Sensation almost made it to uebersensational, but the format, the venue, the layout and the crowd appeared to conspire against the event. FORMAT - more DJs in a finite amount of time does not make an event better. Most club DJs hit their first peak (but not their best peak) about 40 minutes into a 2-3 set, which in this case was when they were done their set. As an example, Montreal's Black & Blue runs 18 continuous hours and only has four DJs play (each about 4 hrs or so). VENUE & LAYOUT - the Rogers Centre is likely the only venue where this would work, but using the ramps to get to field level and then having people go all the way back up to use washrooms is stupid. Also, the signage was lousy in terms of finding the ramps. And speaking of those ramps, I didn't enjoy having to walk through the clouds from cigarette smoke at each bend and even watch event staff ignoring the smoking violations. CROWD - you can't control the crowd, but some of them barely met dress code standards and many were just downright rude.

Not worth the money, okay show

    by beads123 on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

The bar sucks big. Bars at each end of show and only 8 bartenders serving , how stupid is that. ,, duh?? 40 percent of capacity is thirsty waiting 10 15 minutes sucks for 2 beers. Why not have water stations thru out the floor or smaller beer stations thru out also. . Having 3 row'sof cable wire cover's thru out the side of the stage was dumb. Why not run them at the length end of the stage. Over all, the rogers dome needs to go back to the drawing board on how to satisfy the mass of thirsty people. And what this kind of event needs. I could go on but it's a waste of time.

    Amazing!

by Sensesalive on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

This was an amazing experience! I did expect a little more of show with "acrobats" and "floats", but maybe I somehow missed them. Charging Rogers Centre prices for beer and water was ridiculous, and was next to impossible to get to & from the bathrooms. Overall this was really awesome though, I'd go again!

Music was epic, show was not so much

    by Hungryman00 on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

The show was the exact same stage set up as shown in the ads, if I'm going to be paying $150 dollars for a concert, I at least expect a NEW show, not recycled sets. On top of that, they had some paid dancers that basically walked down the stage with balls on their heads for a few minutes. If they had to pay these girls to be there for such a breif time, they should have gone the extra mile, and had some dancers on the stage at all times! Or up in the air! Or anything!!! The set was too... Fixed... Needed more motion, more life.

    Wasn't the full show

by Davekim on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

I feel like we missed out on a lot of effects. Apparently there were some issues with the set up. Unfortunately the event was overpriced and not everything we were promised.

    The show was awesome !

    by Princess2 on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

The GA was a mess. You could not dance uninterrupted by people walking or trying to walk to the bathroom or bar. There should have been a roped off 'road' going around the edge of the oval GA section just for walking no standing. That would have made it easier to get to the bathrooms. It took 15 minutes to get to an exit. Disaster. What if it was an emergency? Once you got out of the arena, another half hour to get to a stall if you were a female. That's nuts and unacceptable. My group actually stopped drinking because no one wanted to have to pee. In the men's bathrooms guys were peeing against the walls because it was faster than waiting in line. Seriously? Wow. Where were the people walking around selling drinks/water? We saw one in a six hour period. Seriously? And then someone in our group made a water run and had to walk with 10 waters, no lids....spilling a bit of course. C'mon people the Sensation people knew their stuff, shame on you Rogers Centre.

Amazing event! Sensation ocean of white

by Lizzybear on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

Sensation was an amazing event! The music was perfect. The show was so unexpectedly awesome too.. Fire works, water fountains, huge balls that got voiced around the crowd and changed colours. Everybody was raging and having a great time, such a good vibe. My only complaints would be able the bar on the floor.. Waited in line for 20 minutes and didn't even move. And $10.95 a beer is pretty steep! Also I didn't like the fact that you couldn't go back on the floor from the stands. Other than that it was a great night and I will definitely go back if they do it next year. Maybe they can reduce the ticket price a little? Probably not. Definitely recommend!! :) Eric Prydz and Fedde Le Grande killed it!! Amazing.. And the dress code gives you a really good feeling of unity. <3

    Amazing light show!

    by Annie654321 on 2013-06-03Rogers Centre - Toronto

I've never been to this kind of concert. It was different. All the lights and lasers were in sync to the music. The effects were great. I defiantly recommend going. Even if you don't listen to this type of music. Just go for an amazing show.
