    excellent quality!

by Anonymous on 2011-08-08Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

I was very impressed, and quite frankly, very surprised at the awesome quality of this show. All the characters were there, there was a story, "special effects," and even a little adult humour (love Sesame Street for always doing that!) It wasn't cheap for 2nd row seats, but I'm glad we sat there because my daughter got to see everyone up close, and even have a hug with Prairie Dawn. Aww. Super impressive!

    Elmo was great!!

by YvonneNAva on 2011-08-08Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre - Vancouver

My daughter couldn't get enough dancing with the characters in the aisle. Venue was great, lots of space for the kids to spread out and dance.

Even hubby liked Elmo's Healthy Heroes

by Rhae on 2011-08-03Rexall Place - Edmonton

Went to Edmonton to see Elmo's Healthy Heroes for my daughters second birthday. It was amazing & would love to go again. We managed to get the sunny seats where the kids got to meet a few characters before the show. The staff was very good about organizing & taking pictures for the parents. I managed to get a great family shot. My daughter was interested in the whole show and she is only 2! Both my hubby & I enjoyed the show too as these are a lot of the same characters that we grew up with. My only word of caution is that by the end the show was getting a little long, especially for those parents that decided to buy snow cones & cotton candy at the beginning of the show. The sugar meltdown started about 20mins before the show ended.

    Loved It!

by ScottishLass on 2011-08-03Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

My children and I all loved this show. Sparkly stage show, big and brightly coloured costumes, fun songs (new and old faves). My children danced all around and loved seeing their Sesame Street friends. We all enjoyed every second of it!

Sesame Street Live = Lively & Fun

by 09suzyb on 2011-08-03Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I took my 4-yr old to see Sesame Live this year and though she is nearly past the Sesame Street phase, she definitely loved all the lively songs and dancing and funny moments of the show. It is a great production and I would definitely recommend it.

    Elmo Healthy Heros was disappointing

by MAMEJ on 2011-08-03Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Selling cotton candy at an event that is promoting healthy (food) choices? The merchandising was excessive and incredibly overpriced. To say they took advantage of a captive audience of toddlers having tantrums for things they want would be an understatement. I could understand selling a few items but they basically rolled in the Sesame Street store and trooped in helium metallic Elmo balloons at intermission. Not cool.

    Very fun, kids love it!

by krissy on 2011-08-02Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The show was great, lots of energy and fantastic dancing and singing! The meet and greet was too short and not with enough characters for the money. But the kids loved it too!

    Elmo and friends were...ok

by Meeeeeeeee on 2011-08-02Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

I brought at 4 year old girl, a 3 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. They couldn't wait to leave. It wasn't geared to kids that age. Probably more suited for DIE HARD Elmo lovers or 5-7 year olds.

    Fantastic!

by SuperMomma on 2011-08-02Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

The actors did a fantastic job. My 2 year old daughter and I both really enjoyed the production. I bought the tickets for my daughter's enjoyment but as soon as the show started, I realized that it was MY dream come true (I watched Sesame Street as a Child).

    Elmo - Healthy Heroes

by nicki1234 on 2011-08-01Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

No. Last year's performance was much better. This one was really low energy and the kids in the theatre were not engaged. The performers even seemed to note the low energy in the room based on a very forgettable start. The last 20 minutes, were probably the best.

Sesame Sreet Live : Elmo's Healthy Heroes

by DickM on 2011-08-01Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

We quite disappointed in the performance. Not enough "umph to get the children excited. Limited participation by children. Bought a balloon for my grandchild which broke before he could get out the door. Sponsor would replace. Product was of poor quality.

    Very Good Pre-Schooler Show

by QuackAttack on 2011-07-31Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Calgary

Very entertaining show, with a good message. I liked that the music wasn't as loud as some other shows and there was minimal distracting flahing lights and stuff, the characters and the story were the main focus. There was a good amount of interaction for the kids. There was no chance to go meet the characters or have pictures taken which was a little disapointing for the little ones.

Anything that can keep a 3yr old boy in his seat for an hour plus is a great thing...Enjoyed the show will be back again next year

Sesame Street great for kids 3 and up

by KNDD on 2011-07-27Rexall Place - Edmonton

My daughter who is 28 months old absolutely loved this show and so did my 4 month old baby, they were mesmerized for the first half but then the show had a 15 minute intermission where vendors sold Elmo balloons for $10 each and sno cones for $5 each and the kids all started to lose interest. I think it was just a little bit long for the attention span of a 2-3 year old child. By the end of the show about 1/3 of the seats were empty because the people that were in them had left with their kids since they were starting to scream. Otherwise the message of the show was great and all the characters were awesome, my daughter LOVED seeing them all!

    Elmo Rocked

by Claudialg on 2011-07-27Rexall Place - Edmonton

Elmo's Healthy Heroes was way better than last year's offering. The plot is entertaining for both children and parents a like, with the added bonus of being a bit on the educational side without kids noticing. The songs were good and catchy and appropriate and everything was very eye catching. It is by far one of the better kids show's we have seen, and hopefully the next one will be just as good.
