THE FEEL OF HAVING THE LIVE ORCHESTRA WAS STUNNING. HOPE TO SEE MORE SHOWS LIKE THIS.
Very enjoyable. Symphony was excellent. Acoustics could be improved.
Even though I already only paid half price for my ticket, it was not worth it at all. The key problem being that because the orchestra was not acoustic, but everything was played into speakers, you could not tell that it was being played live as opposed to a good sound system from the movie theater, let alone the IMAX auditorium. Then the other big problems were: -The screen quality was not particularly good and somewhat faded -There was a shadow that ran across the top of the screen -The entire movie had subtitles despite being all English, because -> When they ripped the soundtrack out of the film, some of the voices ended up way too quiet to hear, so you had to read the subtitles because the volume drops at intervals -The seats are very uncomfortable. The back does not go back at all, it's rigid. The armrests are wooden. There is less space than a movie theater for your legs, and the underside of the seat when it's up is curved outwards, so if you have stand up to let someone go in front of you, neither person has any space, while you're trying not to tumble out of the row. -For at least the first half of the film, ushers with flashlights walk around the sides creating distracting eyesores as light dances in your periphery. All in all, I will never do this again, but at least I only paid half price to know this information, that this is not good.
It was fantastic! The music was amazing and it was the BEST ‘ Live in Concert’ we’ve seen to date!
This is the third time I’ve seen a movie in concert with live orchestra. It really brought the movie alive. Especially love it when they played Skyfall with Adele’s voice it sounded like she was signing live. I found myself holding my breath and getting goosebumps. Will definitely return again to see Harry Potter in Concert next!
Such an amazing performance!!! We've been to many and they never disappoint. But what a great disappointment with bar service that night!! Two of the bars were closed due to some reno or construction which you couldn't tell and no signs anywhere apologizing for them being closed. What you got were ridiculous long lines trying to get a drink or a water at the two bars that were opened. There was no delay in the performance for people to get back to their seats. Most just gave up and went back to their seats. Totally unacceptable.....they should have put up a few pop up bars knowing this situation :( :( :(
I generally love the in-concert series and have seen two Harry Potter ones. This one is no exception, the score is really good and the orchestra played flawlessly. Perhaps though during the intro they could have someone live sing Adele's Skyfall would make the show better.
Awesome experience Highly recommended. Will go to other events
I love soundtracks and this experience was beyond my imagination ... but I have some suggestions, I think more emphasize should be on music and orchestra ... for example, movie screen could be smaller (like 75%) and more light could be on orchestra even a dynamic light ... for example, more light on drum when it is its turn or more light on violins when they play and so forth ... just as an idea ... but all in all, it was great ...
The orchestra was amazing and I enjoyed the movie as if I saw it for the first time! The whole experience was one of the best yet and I would definitely go again with this type of experience!!!
