Wish it would have been bigger. Shocked that the cost for a family of 2adults and 2 children was cheaper than a family with 2 adults and only 1 child…a family is a family is a family. Why discriminate on families with only children???
Other than a small hockey rink & 3 small ice slides, the maze was very !!! small, basically empty & too short for my ternagers. I hate to say it, but a REAL ripoff… nothing like the hawrelack ice castkes
Did all the slides (at least I did) and it was fun (except the tailbone crusher in the maze itself). We loved the family friendly atmosphere and everyone was having fun! Tested out some maze-solving theories, had some hot cocoa, played a little corn hole.... just didn't bring our skates. We look forward to an expansion next year. Thanks for loving a winter city!
It was very expensive for what we got. The whole maze took about 5 minutes. It was well done but I expected quite a bit more to do. After getting all dressed up and coming all the way downtown we ended up spending more time getting there than at the venue.
The cost of the tickets were over $20.00 an adult and it took less then 5 minutes to go through the maze. The tiny maze that was there was built very well and had a cool slide inside it but for the cost of this, and the way it was advertised, is a total rip off. And we all know when you go downtown you have to pay for parking, as we thought the maze would be a bit bigger and there would be some activities (there was a bean toss game and a firepit) we paid for 2 hours of parking which cost $17.00. So for the 2 of us to go through a less then 5 minute maze it cost us almost $60.00. Very disappointing!
The maze is very small, takes 10 minutes from start to finish and that's if you stop to use the slide and take pictures. There are a couple of small slides outside but once again nothing special. They either need to make it better to justify the price or adjust the price for what it is.
Was a fun outing but the maze took us about 5 minutes. The kids had a lot of fun on the slides, the rink was neat but I didn’t know it would be there so we weren’t prepared with skates. The staff was very friendly and the fire pits were a nice touch. Overall fun event just a lot smaller scale than anticipated
The ice slides were stellar - manage your expectations regarding the size of the maze.
The ice slides were probably the main attraction for the kids and even the adults. The ice maze was cool but way too small for being the selling point. This event might have been worth it at half the price, but probably not unless there was more to do.
We were quite disappointed in the ice maze. We did not think it was worth the money at all. The maze itself was so short. You couldn’t get lost in there if you tried. Way over price!!
It was ok. Add $4.5 for hot chocolate and they don’t even let you take it in the maze. We spent maybe 30 mins before leaving. Not much to do and the maze was okay. Definitely not worth the price or hype but okay if you have absolutely nothing else planned.
I think it was a little pricy for what was there. The maze was a little disappointing. The slides were awesome. I think $ 25 to $30 for a family of 4 should be a good price for what was there.
It was good, fun things to do but not a very good value for the price.ake the cost lower so more poeple can enjoy it.
Overpriced and can't even take drinks into the maze. Not impressed at all.
Very limited, unexciting ice maze. Yes, there were a couple of photo opportunities but the maze itself needed to be twice the size for this price. The timed entry was great to limit the number of people. Concession prices were outrageous, very fitting of Rogers Place. Not recommended for this price.
Maze is shorter but neat. However, all the additional processing fees etc sure added up for a larger family to go was a downfall for me.
I went to snow way out with my family and i was going to be a lot bigger but understandable its also the first year for this, all in all my kids had a really fun time. If it was busy I would have left.
My husband and I took our 6 kids and we had a great time! We spent about 2 hours playing hockey, bean bag toss, going down the ice slides and playing through the maze. Finished it off with scooping up tons of Boxing Day deals at the Official Oilers Store.
Kids loved the slides and the maze but it was quite over priced for what was there and then having to also pay for parking. It wasn’t busy though.
Was definitely not worth it for what they charged. Not impressed
