    Something Rotten was absolutely hilarious.

Amazing from the opening scene to the last curtain call. For anyone who loves musicals, Shakespeare, and comedy this is one to see.

    Loved it!

by Jelo on 2018-03-13Shea's Performing Arts Center - Buffalo

My daughters really wanted to see this, I had never heard of it but bought the tickets. Not really a Shakespeare fan so I wasn't too keen. But I was pleasantly surprised, it was funny and the music was great! So glad we went :) Our seats were row Q on the 3rd balcony, no great choice for someone afraid of heights! Pretty good, albeit far view of the stage., would have been better if we were in the next row down. A large family of tall people sat in front of us. So the first act was pretty uncomfortable trying to see around them. Lots of empty seats behind us, so I asked if it would be ok for us to move back a row so my daughter could see better. She invited us to sit closer, as the whole section was empty! We enjoyed our view much better! In future I will be more careful at choosing seats. Not only are the 3rd balcony seats high up, but there's no leg room at all! I'm 5;4: with short legs. When the man ahead of me pushed back on his seat, he crushed my knees....So if you're longer legged I would advise to avoid these seats.

    Something Rotten! is hilarious

This was a witty, original and hilarious musical set in the time of William Shakespeare that lovingly pays homage to past musical classics.
