We never miss their plays - and we continue to be truly amazed by the level of talent by such young people, both in acting and singing. We attend as much theatre around Edmonton as we can, and we can honestly say these kids outshine MANY of the adult actors/theatres. A great job by all - from writing to production to directing to choreography to music and all the hardworking incredible actors!
I took my 4 year old granddaughter and I'm not sure who enjoyed more, but, she sat enthralled the entire night!
It was absolutely fantastic and I would see it again in a heartbeat. I took my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old and they both loved it.
Attended the performance on December 6th with my wife and granddaughter and enjoyed the show very much! The child actors were superb and very enjoyable to watch on stage. Great humour and voices of angels. I would highly recommend this show to anyone who has not seen it!
We took our Grandchildren, 4 girls and one boy and one adopted boyfriend. They ranged from 21 to 8 years old. The boyfriend (21) is visiting from England and he absolutely loved the show. The youngest is 8 and she never took her eyes off the stage for a minute until intermission and wouldn't go for a stretch in case she missed anything. Our 12 yr. old Grandson had the same Christmas wish a couple of years ago and he thought it was really funny. The rest of us were just as happy with it. I have to admit though, that just watching the 6 of them interact with each other and laugh at all the antics on the stage was the hit of the evening for me. Taking them to a show at Christmas has become a tradition since the oldest were able to understand live theatre. We will certainly be looking at the St. Albert Arden Theatre next Christmas. It was excellent entertainment for a family and very affordable for our 8 tickets.
This show truly was amazing. It was a joy to see all the iconic moments from the 1983 film brought to life on stage. What a talented group of individuals!
A Christmas Story was very entertaining and we'll performed. Will definitely go see another musical by St. Albert Children’s Theatre.
The play had a slow start at the beginning and I worried that it would be too difficult for the younger children to understand, but fairly quickly, it got moving and there was lots of action. My grandson actually doesn't like the movie but loved the play. The lead boy did an amazing job of singing
All these people did a wonderful job and was very close to the movie
Ive been to many plays and this one was spectacular!! An amazing performance by everyone!! Well done!
