Was same length as calgary one and cheaper so bonus. Only thing is the competitors are at a lower level. So you do see more accidents or mistakes. Still fun to watch!! We will see chuckwagons and running of the bulls next year!!!

I had a lot of fun and thrills with the 2 events. This was only our second time going to this rodeo, it was cool that the same top notch cowboys and girls were participating. A Big 2 Thumbs up Strathmore for your hospitality

The Strathmore Rodeo is a laid back, less expensive version of the Calgary Stampede. I love watching the run with the bulls! The chuckwagons are also a great time!

This is a fun event - great for families. Small town rodeo that gets you up close to the action. Small area with rides and games for kids. Running of the Bulls is an insane event - kind of like watching a train wreck, you can't NOT watch even though the risk of injury is quite high! Free parking is a bonus. Leaving the event takes a bit of time due to volume of vehicles. Be prepared to be dusty and watch out for the gopher holes! If you like rodeo and chuck wagons, this is a great option to the Stampede. Very reasonable cost.

The Strathmore Stampede Rodeo was amazing! Had all the same aspects of the Calagary stampede rodeo but it was cheaper and the seats were better!! I highly recommend this event to anyone that enjoys a rodeo!

Unforgettable....small town Alberta..(no offense Strathmore).... great setup and wow fantastic Rodeo. Great riders, all seats are fantastic...so close to the action!!! Cant wait till next year. Running of the Bulls is bizarre, hilarious and wildly entertaining! So many stupid people and so few bulls to run them over! :) Only reminder....next year bring cushion for the bench seating. Hard metal seats gets sore after awhile. GREAT JOB STRATHMORE! See you next year!

Second year in a row I have attended. All the fun of the Stampede without the price! Seats were excellent.

The value for the rodeo and the Chucks is excellent. . The ease for picking up tickets at will call was painless. If time off permitted would do the whole event

Fantastic event, very entertaining. Will definitely be going back next year. Job well done and many of the folks were volunteers.

The event was really good. The Running of the Bulls is a great addition. Nikki Camaert is good, but could change that up as she's been around a long time. The wild pony and ram riding was fun.

I had never been to Heritage Days in Strathmore before. This last weekend was a real treat, with the Running of the Bulls (Sunday), Rodeo and Chucks on Monday. Great family entertainment with little Mutton Busters, Wild Horse Riding, Heavy Horse Pull, Mini Horse Races and exhibits. This event was like stepping back in time and enjoying all the same players as you see at the Stampede but with much less stress. It was a great time and I will go again next year!

Every seat is a great seat. Normally no or short lineups for food, beer, etc. If there's a lineup it goes super fast. Top rated cowboys and free parking. Be forewarned, though...if you go on an evening for the chuckwagons, leaving the parking lot at the end of the night is a nightmare. We didn't move for half an hour. Otherwise its great entertainment at a fraction of the cost of the Calgary Stampede. This is our fourth year and are planning for the fifth.

The entire experience was great starting from the ease of parking, to the ride into the grounds The grounds had more this year than last and the rodeo was great as always. Do take a cushion... seats tend to get hard after a while

This is a great rodeo because it is so compact and there is something there for everyone. I love the rodeo, the chuckwagons, the heavy horse-pulling, the cattle show. The entertainers on the Encana Stage were wonderful and entertaining. The trade show was a little less but what was there was good. There is alot for children to see and do. I wish there were more horses on show and better food - the Lions beef on a bun is very good as are their veggies but there needs to be other healthier choices.

It was our first time to experience the famed Running with the Bulls. It was hilarious, invigorating and just down right insane!!! The crowd enjoyed every hair raising minute of this event!
