Formed in 2008, Swedish House Mafia--Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso--quickly established themselves as one of the most influential acts in electronic music. They brought house music to arenas, bridging club culture and global stages through bold production, uncompromising live shows, and a clear artistic vision.
The trio were the first electronic act to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden (2011) and the first to close Coachella's main stage (2012). Their singles "Save the World" and "Don't You Worry Child" earned GRAMMY® nominations and multi-platinum certifications. Rolling Stone described their rise as "redefining rave culture," and NMEcalled them "the rockstars of the dance music world."
Their record-breaking One Last Tour concluded with a five-year hiatus, followed by their surprise return as headliners of Ultra Music Festival's 20th anniversary in 2018. The following year, they launched the Save The World Reunion Tour and shifted their focus toward a new priority: their first full-length studio album.
Released in 2022, Paradise Again was the result of nearly two years in the studio. The group rebuilt their sound from the ground up, drawing on analog synthesis, experimentation, and collaboration. "We needed to find sounds in the studio we had never heard before," said Steve Angello. "This is one of the most exciting times for us. We're having fun like 15-yearolds again."
The album featured contributions from The Weeknd, Sting, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Seinabo Sey, and Fred again.. It debuted at #1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the UK Dance Albums Chart. Songs like "Redlight," "Frankenstein," and "Don't Go Mad" pushed the group into new territory both sonically and structurally.
Critics praised the scope of the work. Pitchfork described the album as "richer in texture and grander in scope than previous releases." NME awarded it four stars, calling it "a reclaiming of their title" and writing simply: "it slaps." The group headlined Coachella alongside The Weeknd in 2022, a performance The Guardian called "off the wall."
The album's lead single, "Moth To A Flame," became a global hit, reaching gold or platinum status in nine countries and joining Spotify's Billion Club. The group also co-wrote and coproduced "Sacrifice" and "How Do I Make You Love Me?" on The Weeknd's Dawn FM, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200.
The Paradise Again World Tour followed, covering 29 cities in 11 countries across two continents. During this period, the group also released the single "Turn On The Lights again.." with Fred again.. and Future.
In 2023 and 2024, Swedish House Mafia returned to the stage with key performances at Tomorrowland, Brooklyn Mirage, and their first-ever Ibiza residency at Ushuaïa. They also released a series of new singles: Ray of Solar, Lioness featuring Niki & The Dove, and Finally featuring Alicia Keys.
In 2025, they launched Superhuman--their new creative home and label. It began with Flood, Sebastian Ingrosso's first solo release in eight years, followed by No Enemies, a collaboration between Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Namasenda. Superhuman will serve as the primary platform for future Swedish House Mafia releases, as well as a launchpad for a new generation of emerging talent.
Swedish House Mafia continue to operate with full focus--on records, on stage, and through their label. With new music, new projects, and global shows ahead this is 3.0

Great time as I knew it would be! Swedish House Mafia delivered a concert full of dance, memories and we left with a real sense of loss to a fantastic DJ Trio, but happy for them none-the-less. The only complaint is that we bought the VIP tickets thinking we'd be closer to the stage and Rogers' Center had it set up very differently. I didn't mind the raised platform dead center, but it could have been closer on the floors. Also - WHY no glow sticks?? I don't understand!
I had an absolute blast at the SHM One Last Tour! The setlist was pretty static from what I had heard, but does it matter when the songs are amazing? Not to me. Floor tickets were awesome, I'm really happy I got them. They started pounding the hits out, starting with Greyhound and ending with Save The World. The light show was amazing, and they dropped loads of balloons on the crowd around the end, which is always fun. The crowd was happy - of course ;) - and energetic. LOVED IT.
The dj's will mirror the crowds energy and this crowd was way too high to appreciate the whole show. Could've been more organized, specially since it was the 2 day (march 9)
I had the greatest time of my life. Epic! No other word to describe it
Hands down one of the BEST nights of my life. I absolutely loved it. The pushing was awesome, the sweating was awesome. The MUSIC was awesome. I wish I could repeat it.
SHM was amazing! Crowd was great. Special effects were awesome and they played my fave songs (including Atom and Wakanda). Only complaint is re the venue: took an hour to get in which is ridiculous and I missed Otto Knows for that reason.
Concert was an unbelievable experience, great people, great place, great music! They Came, They Raved, and They Loved and everyone knew that.
Too bad they are breaking up. They gave an amazing show, one of my best concert experiences!!!
Concert was amazing, it was non stop dancing. The light show was great. The crowd was on fire dancing and singing. SHM is ending to soon but this was a great ending. Hope to see them sometime again in the future.
Epic! Just epic. One of the best shows ever and one a fitting farewell from Toronto to SHM. Indeed, we came, we raved, we loved
Awesome concert! Amazing talented DJ's. Great choice in venue as well.
huge party, all the best hits, raving all night didn't care much for otto knows to be honest memorable and sadly will be the last show in toronto..for now
This concert exceeded my every expectation. Everything about it was wonderful! The lights, the visual affects, the fireworks, the confetti, the balls falling from the sky. The experience was unforgettable, truly amazing. My only criticism is the sound quality. If you were on the floor the sound was great, but if you were in the seats it wasn't as good. When on the floor it was as if the music was going through my body.
I have to begin with mentioning as a producer myself, I have never heard near perfect equ'ing and sound quality in such a huge venue. This was the best sounding show I have ever heard in my life and most people will never realize that. The entirety of Swedish House Mafia's performance was mesmerizing and engaging. Beautiful LED stage, lights, lasers, and pyrotechnics mixed with a set list that was filled with anthems from the beginning to the end of their career. I could not picture a better way for this collective group of Swedish house artists to give back to their fans, there's not a doubt in my mind that anyone will ever forget that night. Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello thank you.
Amazing experience! I've followed SHM for a number of years now and I can't believe this is their last tour. So glad I was part of it!
Easily the best two shows of my life! Friday and Saturday on the floor for both. For being at the Rogers Centre the lines werent bad at all (which was good because I am sure many didn't bring a coat). Its very hard to get back into the university routine after this weekend. SHM you will be missed. We came. We raved. We loved. We'll miss.
Absolutely the best concert I've been too. I was lucky enough to purchase my floor tickets the day they went one sale! My group of friends and I were really close to the stage so it was amazing that I could see Steve, Axwell & Sebastian really close! Definitely worth the money , if I could I would go to all of their shows !!
They were unbelievable! I was a virgin to house concerts and I enjoyed them making every moment pleasurable until the very end! It makes me appreciate all the great somgs they put in this world and saddened (however that's spelled lol) that they are parting! Hopefully from time to time they'll make a skng together in the future because they are a wicked group!! I loved everything about it! From the opening artist Otto knows to the Fireworks to the bass dropping to the walk away song "Don't You Worry Child'!! Now I listen to their songs on my phone and it gives me chills remembering how great their concert was!! I will never forget this concert!! Love SHM TIL DEATH!!!
It was an awesome night. Although the show started awkwardly late, but then it picked ts pace and there was no stopping by. I do not remember if I ever stopped bouncing in the 4 hr event. The music the lights everything was mind blowing. Will miss you SHM. Thanks rogers centre for hosting the show. Also I would like to thank TICKETMASTER a lot for showing such a great support. They were always by my side, whenever I needed them.
