Formed in 2008, Swedish House Mafia--Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso--quickly established themselves as one of the most influential acts in electronic music. They brought house music to arenas, bridging club culture and global stages through bold production, uncompromising live shows, and a clear artistic vision.
The trio were the first electronic act to headline and sell out Madison Square Garden (2011) and the first to close Coachella's main stage (2012). Their singles "Save the World" and "Don't You Worry Child" earned GRAMMY® nominations and multi-platinum certifications. Rolling Stone described their rise as "redefining rave culture," and NMEcalled them "the rockstars of the dance music world."
Their record-breaking One Last Tour concluded with a five-year hiatus, followed by their surprise return as headliners of Ultra Music Festival's 20th anniversary in 2018. The following year, they launched the Save The World Reunion Tour and shifted their focus toward a new priority: their first full-length studio album.
Released in 2022, Paradise Again was the result of nearly two years in the studio. The group rebuilt their sound from the ground up, drawing on analog synthesis, experimentation, and collaboration. "We needed to find sounds in the studio we had never heard before," said Steve Angello. "This is one of the most exciting times for us. We're having fun like 15-yearolds again."
The album featured contributions from The Weeknd, Sting, A$AP Rocky, Ty Dolla $ign, Seinabo Sey, and Fred again.. It debuted at #1 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the UK Dance Albums Chart. Songs like "Redlight," "Frankenstein," and "Don't Go Mad" pushed the group into new territory both sonically and structurally.
Critics praised the scope of the work. Pitchfork described the album as "richer in texture and grander in scope than previous releases." NME awarded it four stars, calling it "a reclaiming of their title" and writing simply: "it slaps." The group headlined Coachella alongside The Weeknd in 2022, a performance The Guardian called "off the wall."
The album's lead single, "Moth To A Flame," became a global hit, reaching gold or platinum status in nine countries and joining Spotify's Billion Club. The group also co-wrote and coproduced "Sacrifice" and "How Do I Make You Love Me?" on The Weeknd's Dawn FM, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200.
The Paradise Again World Tour followed, covering 29 cities in 11 countries across two continents. During this period, the group also released the single "Turn On The Lights again.." with Fred again.. and Future.
In 2023 and 2024, Swedish House Mafia returned to the stage with key performances at Tomorrowland, Brooklyn Mirage, and their first-ever Ibiza residency at Ushuaïa. They also released a series of new singles: Ray of Solar, Lioness featuring Niki & The Dove, and Finally featuring Alicia Keys.
In 2025, they launched Superhuman--their new creative home and label. It began with Flood, Sebastian Ingrosso's first solo release in eight years, followed by No Enemies, a collaboration between Ingrosso, Steve Angello, and Namasenda. Superhuman will serve as the primary platform for future Swedish House Mafia releases, as well as a launchpad for a new generation of emerging talent.
Swedish House Mafia continue to operate with full focus--on records, on stage, and through their label. With new music, new projects, and global shows ahead this is 3.0

One of my favourite concerts! Unbelievable. Wish there weren't so many doped out 16 year olds and Rogers Centre was way too big for the concert. Also, getting in was complete chaos none of the staff could tell us where we should go it was very disorganized. We were running around just finding our own way.
Amazing, Amazing, Amazing!!!!!! From Otto Knows to Swedish House Mafia the whole night was amazing.
Swedish House Mafia put on an amazing audio and visual show, and the crowd was great! I would definitely see them again but had a few small issues with the Rogers Centre. The entrance was extremely busy and disorganized - more doors should have been used. The sound also could have been a LOT louder. It also would have been great if water was for sale at the end of the show. The size and setup of the show room itself was great!
I went to both days for Swedish House Mafia in Toronto because it was that good! They rocked the house both nights, but I wish their set was a little longer considering the amount of money people paid to see them. I think 2.5 hours would have been better. Organization of the event could be better if they had coat check. There was PLENTY of room for coat check, but the promoters (Electronic Nation) did not take care of that at all. The back of the Rogers Center had a tonne of unused space that could have been used for coat check. The sound could have been better as it was a bit too quiet. The lighting setup was THE BEST for any EDM party EVER in Toronto....PERIOD.
Swedish house mafia was amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was the best thing i've went to in my entire life !
One of the most unforgettable nights of my life. These guys really know how to put on a show as the effects were almost as amazing as the music.

Awesome experience and awesome concert. SHM was great. Wish they were coming back!
This concert/rave was the best night of my life. I didn't realize how close I was to them until I got on some guy's shoulders. I miss it already.
Lines were huge and not moving, after getting inside they ran out of wristbands for the floor, lining up for stamps then lining up for wristbands then finally getting into the show seeing swedish house mafia last tour the dj didnt even go past 12 for a few more songs.
The best night I've had so far!! It was amazing, I loved it!
I was such a big fan before seeing them live, but I definitely became 10000 times more fond of them while watching this amazing show ! The lighting I thought was stupendous ! I love how they managed to keep us dancing and raving every minute of it !!! It was overwhelming the amount of love every single soul in that stadium was showing them ! They are definitely AMAZING ! Nothing was compared to what I saw on Friday, but I know they are such great individual artists that they'll be GREAT on their own. WE CAME WE RAVED WE'LL LOVE YOU FOR EVER SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA !!!
SHM played an unforgettable show. Lights very well done. WE CAME. WE RAVED. WE LOVED.
Great show. Lots of energy from the crowd... Bodies are just everywhere!!
VIP section is too far from the stage, not as same as shown on the map from website. Kinda disappointed.
One great song after the next...awesome atmosphere! Had a great time!
We came. We raved. We loved. That's all that needs to be said.
