About

TERRY FATOR IN CONCERT:

Terry Fator is quite the character -- whether he's impersonating country singers with his dummy Walter T. Airdale or performing soul tunes as Julius the Marvin Gaye-loving puppet, Fator proves he’s a ventriloquist mastermind. His 2007 debut on America's Got Talent left audiences floored by his wide range of impersonations, and he won over judges by incorporating stand-up comedy and classic songs into his wildly entertaining skits. Joined by as many as 16 different puppets for his live performances, Terry Fator and company will have fans rolling on the floor at his 2014 residency at the Mirage in Las Vegas.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Terry Fator got his start in ventriloquism at an early age, purchasing his first Willie Talk dummy in fifth grade and winning a talent show at his local church. His singing experience came later as the frontman of late-'70s band Freedom Jam, whose live shows often included Fator's impersonations of famous artists like Garth Brooks and Etta James. After years of moderate success, Fator finally got his big break on America's Got Talent in 2007, winning the entire show and launching to stardom virtually overnight. Since then, Fator and his puppet friends have enjoyed tremendous success, appearing on a number of talk shows and landing their own act at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel. Not only is he a famed actor and ventriloquist, but he's also an activist for Ronald McDonald House charities and the author of Who's the Dummy Now, an autobiographical account of his path to success. Terry Fator's expansive list of talents will leave fans utterly amazed during his Vegas residency at the Mirage.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Terry's talent is unbelievable! He never ceases to amaze us!"

"Seeing his show in person was more than I had expected. He gave a wonderful show and I would go see him again."

"This was a great show! He is unbelievably talented as a ventriloquist. His humor is fun. His imitations are so good because he combines them with the use of the dummies. Loved it!!"

A lot of solo singing without puppets. Too much history. Too negative about his father. Not a typical Vegas show. Funny moments but limited puppets.

Thoroughly enjoyed Terry Fator's show. He is a real success story and a genuine all round good guy. Funny bits throughout the show, a real variety of puppets, and some really good singing. I enjoyed his Aaron Neville impersonation immensely. He likes to recognize the military community and all profits from his merchandise goes to benefit the military families and programs. Left with a big smile on my face and a "Winston" turtle puppet to remember the show!

Terry Fator may be a talented ventriloquist but he really wants to be a singer. He certainly isn't a comedian.

Really entertaining. Can't believe he can sing so well doing ventriloquism! The throwing of his voice was really cool too. Highly recommend this show!

Terry Fator is an incredibly talented man. It's truly amazing the number of voices he can imitate and create so effortlessly. I would recommend him to everyone (in fact...I already have). I would see him again in a heart-beat! Great Job!!

He put on a great show, made it a storey on his life and how he made it to where he is today. I now want to go to Vegas to see him. Would recommend all to go see his show.

We had a great time at Terry Fator's show. We loved the way he told his life story and embellished it with the puppets. He made it so amusing and also a life lesson for younger people.

Terry never fails to impress. He's such a star and can really sing up a storm. He's also pretty good at keeping his puppets in line lol.

The show was OK, rather disappointed as not enough comedy or puppets. To much of him singing without the puppets.

As much as we are fans of Terry Fator, I must say that we were VERY disappointed in the show we saw on Saturday night. We had seen him in Vegas and thoroughly enjoyed his act. He did what he does best (in our opinion)- ventriloquism. Saturday night was just a boring musical dialogue of his life. I had read his book, so I already knew everything he told us. Let's just say that we were glad that we hadn't paid any more for our tickets than we had! If we had known what was in store, we wouldn't have travelled over 4 hours to get there and spent money on a hotel for the night!!

I have been waiting to see Terry since he first went on America's Got Talent. The man is very talented and quite the showman. My only qualms about the performance were that he did not do as many famous hits as I expected to hear and I experienced a bit of a generational gap. As a 30 year old, it seems I was on the younger end of attendees. I cannot blame Terry for catering to his audience but due to this age gap, some of the songs/artists were unrecognizable for me. I would still recommend the show and will be seeing Terry if and when I make it to Vegas.

I first followed Terry on America's Got Talent and loved is act. I was expecting the show to focus more on his puppets and his ability to sing in the various voices. But too much of this show focused on his early days trying to get recognized as a singer and ventriliquist. There were a few songs that almost sounded like "lounge room" songs. The parts of the show when he sang with his various puppets were fabulous. I just wish there were more..

Terry Fator was a very enjoyable show. Terry entertained for a solid 1hr 45min. He sang a wide variety of songs and his puppets where awesome. One of the most entertaining shows that I have attended in a long time. Definitely a must see show.

  • Terry Fader

by maranarl on 2013-11-19Casino Rama - RamaRating: 5 out of 5

Terry Fader was amazing. He was so funny. We laughed all the way through. I have been a fan of his since he was on America's Got Talent. I would love to see him in Vegas, but don't have the means to go so it was great to see him here. The only thing I didn't like was the level of the sound system. Our seats were in the highest section and they were vibrating from the base. I am hard of hearing and it was still too loud. You are damaging peoples' hearing with the sound so loud.
