The Attic Ends Tickets

Brooklyn quartet The Attic Ends plays the kind of transcendent music you'd imagine as the soundtrack to your dreams. The band blends dream pop and atmospheric indie rock with their intricate arrangements, moody lyrics, and haunting melodies, taking cues from artists like Radiohead, Bjork, and Led Zeppelin. The Attic Ends traces its roots an open mic night in Brooklyn in 2009 when vocalist Samantha Rex -- fresh off a stint as the lead singer for German pop group Heaven Sent -- met keyboardist Jan Christiansen. The pair clicked and soon rounded out their lineup with guitarist Pete Hur and drummer Bob King. The quintet released their debut album Home in 2010 and then took three years off to write new music and refine their sound. They returned to the studio in top form and recorded a stellar double EP, releasing The Sky Begins (Part One) in 2013 and following up with Mark Of The Moon (Part Two) in early 2014. The band spent the rest of the year playing a sold-out residency at New York venue Arlene's Grocery before moving on to bigger stages at Mercury Lounge and Bowery Ballroom. Later that year they relocated to Los Angeles to expand their audience and record their highly anticipated third studio album, slated for release in 2015.
