What a cast! So so talented! Content is not for the prudish but it’s really hilarious. Can’t say enough about this company of actors. They are incredible! I absolutely loved it!
One of the funniest live shows i've seen. You could understand the singing and what they were saying (unlike Hamilton - which was also great) and it was truly hilarious. A must see.
What was expected to be a light and innocent satirical shot at a faith group (Mormon Church), turned out to be a horrifically crass and irreverent evening, that was embarrassing to watch in many scenes. No, I'm not a Mormon. Nerves of steel are required to endure the endless F-words and slams at faith and Deity, while resorting to sexual orientation references, as a last ditch effort to make people laugh. I suppose we should have previewed the show better, but we could not have imagined so many sexual, faith, and language lines to be crossed- all in one package! The story line is one that could have easily been more reverent, while still reaching the goal of humorous satire. Acting talent was very good. Some very funny moments, but far overshadowed by the disrespect shown to the audience's intellect by needing to go way overboard to be humorous.
Book of Mormon had us laughing from start to finish. The Eugene O'Neill theatre is a gorgeous venue.
This show was the best. Superior performers great humour extremely entertaining
I don't get shocked much, I just don't get offended BUT the baby rape thing was a bit over the top for me. If that part was taken out I would have loved this show, other than that it was very good. It was funny and great actors. I enjoyed this.
Everything we expected and more. Sets, staging, music and especially the performers were outstanding.
Awesome show. Theatre seats have very little leg room.
We loved this musical. I attended with my 17 y o daughter. The talent of the cast is outstanding, and the musical numbers are lively and lots of fun!! The humour is edgy for sure and may not appeal to everyone, but we thought overall this was a great show!
