    so sorry to say goodbye

by Capet on 2019-10-21The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor - Windsor

The Chieftens we’re as amazing as ever! Have always loved their ability to blend with other cultures and other musical groups. I loved their inclusion of local talent in their show. I believe they are and always have been unique. In this regard. It was great to hear Glass Tiger again. My only concern is that the sound was way too loud and distorted for Glass Tiger. So sorry this is the final your for The Chieftens.

    Chieftans and friends

by D. G. on 2019-10-18National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

Loved the energy of the night. Loved the fact that they included local talents but was expecting more traditional Irish songs from the Chieftans. There was too much dancing in my view. All in all, I enjoyed myself.

Fabulous Irish and Celtic music, incredible Irish dancing, an engaged and lively audience.....hands clapping, feet tapping.....can't wait to see the Chieftains again! Congratulations on their 57th Anniversary!

    Great show!

by Kevin on 2019-10-17National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

The Irish lads put on quite a show for all ages, not only did they entertain with their musical ability and wit but their backup players were no slouches either. They also brought in some local talent to sing and dance and play the pipes and drums which was very much appreciated by the audience. I'm sure sharing a stage with the Chieftains is something they'll remember for the rest of their lives.

    Moving Experience

by Jessie on 2019-10-17National Arts Centre / Centre national des Arts - Ottawa

My mother, 76, has been following the Chieftans since the beginning. Watching her laugh, remember, dance and, cry at the close, was moving. Happy to witness this

Pass the Guinness, We're All a Little Irish Now!

by Teleking on 2012-10-14River Rock Casino Resort - Richmond

Great evening of Traditional and not so traditional Irish and Celtic music with a few twists thrown in. Some very talented musicians supplementing the Cheiftains line up. As is the Cheiftains tradition, lots of local talent in the form of dancers and pipers sharing the stage. Paddy, Matt and Kevin have always put on a fantastic show. No sign of Sean but none the less and lovely evening. Throughly enjoyable!
