I've been a big fan of the Faint for a number of years and was excited to see them live again. It's a real shame that they aren't more popular. This band has a unique sound and SO much energy on stage. The venue was moved from the Danforth at the last minute, which was probably a good thing as the large hall would have been painfully empty.

by Mags888 on 2009-09-03CLUB NOKIA - Los AngelesThe Faint were wicked good! It was my first time seeing them, as I am from out of town, and they played a well-rounded set! Opening act Autoerotique left me puzzled, not that he wasn't good, but the music didn't seem so in line with The Faint's. The second act Moving Units were okay. They were more in line with The Faint because they sound pretty similar. The venue, itself, is pretty nice too! The staff were respectful and on top of things, which, at these shows, is very important! I usually line up pretty early in order to get to the front, and they did have an area called The Pit, with limited entrance. Some people try to push/intimidate their way up to the front, and I never felt like these late-comers could because of the security! Good job, guys! Also, they allowed photos, which is also super important to me. We pay all this money, with fees, so I want to be able to remember the show!!
