    Incroyable, comme chaque fois.

by Christine on 2022-05-08MTELUS - Montreal

Le show a été parfait. Jon Matte est un artiste incroyable, phénoménal et talentueux. Il passe d’un instrument à un autre et est excellent à chacun d’eux.

    Bad sound

by Surly old guy on 2022-05-01The Axis Club (formerly known as The Mod Club) - Toronto

Warm up guy Jon Bryant was wonderful. Franklin electric was hurt a bit by way too much base. Subjective I know, but it made the music harder to hear and less enjoyable for us.

    A great surprise

by Patsy on 2020-02-24MTELUS - Montreal

The group gave a generous and sensitive performance. They were able to include the audience quickly. They have played their successes and much more. The integration of brass instruments was perfect.

    ~Another AMAZING Concert!~

    by fordf63 on 2020-02-24MTELUS - Montreal

This is number 4 for me and I've been hooked since day 1. Jon did his thing with all the boys and everything was great. Lighting, sound and always special guests; love when the trumpets all went in. Keep the Q&A's coming and the stripped down acoustic breaks - this is what I love about you guys. Picking up those calls from the audience for Old Piano and 17 make the experience personal and your vulnerability is mirrored and rewarded. Thanks for another awesome show and can't wait to see you again in MTL! Much love

    Hit the perfect note

    by Musicophile67 on 2020-02-24MTELUS - Montreal

Our first time at Franklin Electric show, and we weren't disappointed! The singer's voice is so smooth and soothing and the acoustics did the band justice. Together, they set the perfect mood for a chill night of fantastic music. The only downside was the transitions between songs, which should have been much tighter. Also, because the performance felt intimate, a smaller venue might have lent itself better to the occasion. We'd definitely see them again!!

    Changes I didn't expect

by Low on 2020-02-24MTELUS - Montreal

I went to see their show at least four times since the creation of the band. What I liked in their show is that the singer played trumpet a lot and that ther were continuing to play their old songs. At this show, he played only two times trumpet and all of their old songs were remixed, so I couldn't recongnize them or sing them.

    Trop Bruyant!

by Dano on 2020-02-24MTELUS - Montreal

    Band amazing, venue less so

by Franklin fan on 2020-02-22The Horseshoe Tavern - Toronto

I’ve seen The Franklin Electric many times in Toronto. They’re an awesome band. They seemed to comfortable on stage and engages with the audience. The only flaw was the lighting which often left them dark on stage. Looking forward to seeing them again in a new venue.

    Phenominal

    by music❤️ on 2019-08-04L'Astral - Montréal

This was my third time seeing The Franklin Electric. It is amazing to see them grow as a band. They have exponentially gotten better every time I have seen them. The venu was my favorite so far. Small and intimate with a great view most everywhere. Their new material sounds fantastic and I cannot wait for a new full album! The way they renditioned their older songs was “electric”. Overall an absolutely fantastic experience.

    Astounding!!!!

    by Scarface1 on 2017-04-04Metropolis - Montreal

This is by far the best band I have heard over the past 5 years They are all great but Jon is like no one else I've seen in a long time His lyrics his voice his style that makes it look so easy His trumpet ... I mean he's just incredible You guys rock big time I don't quite understand why you are not in the USA IN A BIG WAY if your album is not nominated for a Grammy There is something seriously wrong with the music industry!!!!!!
