This year was extra special because one of my favourite DJs (Slynk) was playing a set and it was banging!! The Funkhunters as always threw down hard and the lasers were out of this world! đ

by MissRad on 2023-12-26Commodore Ballroom - VancouverIt was so well run, the music was incredible, the sound was perfect, didnât seem too obnoxiously loud. They were spraying water into mouths of thirsty dancers in the front, that was super helpful! It was spacious, lots of respectful guests and although the drinks were super pricy and they didnât allow ins and outs.. it was still quite enjoyable! Will be back to that event!

by Funking good on 2021-12-23Commodore Ballroom - VancouverOf course we know the funk hunters put this on, but there was so much of a difference between askillz and the funk hunters volume level it was astounding. Almost embarrassing for askillzâŚhe had a stellar set with some serious bangers. It almost makes it sound (see what I did there) like an ego thing that Nick & Dunks feel they are better than the openers?? The video mapping and insane lasers can be kept for the two boys as that is their nightâŚbut please turn up the funk for the openers next year!

Skratch Bastid is the best mash up DJ in the game along with Z-Trip and I was pleasantly surprised by the killer saxophone in Balkan Bump. Hope this is an annual occurrence I will Funk the Halls again next year if this happens again!!!
