    Show was Amazing.. however

by mcronk on 2024-02-22Meridian Centre - St Catharines

My girlfriends and I came via limo to see The Glorious Sons and they did not disappoint!! The show was amazing. We love this venue. However... when the show was over, earlier than we expected.. we tried waiting in the lobby for our ride that was over 15mins away, the security staff forced everyone out in minus temperatures. I could understand if there was a large group of people waiting (there was initially) and having everyone wait outside for fire safety reasons... however, when that group became minimal, maybe 25 people...I think as an act of hospitality, we should have been able to wait just inside the door. Everyone was huddled up outside by the doors because we were all freezing cold, trying to keep out of the wind. I really don't think it was an issue to have us wait in the warm lobby. Everyone waiting was more than respectful and would have appreciated the compassion.

    Still Rocking

by Rob on 2024-02-20Meridian Centre - St Catharines

At 61 we still like to be rocked by artists live. The Glorious Sons did this on this night as expected and being right in our hometown made it extra special. The band seemed to be extra grateful for all the fans in attendance which made it feel personal. Loved the show!! Thank you

    Nothing short of amazing !!

by Mike on 2024-02-20Meridian Centre - St Catharines

I’m a 53 year old who has always loved concerts and find it harder and harder for concerts to match up to what they were as recent as 10 years ago. These two bands (Glorious Sons and Brother Elsey) have reinstated my love for rock concerts!!!! Both were amazingly entertaining and the sound system and mixing was exceptional!!! I am a now a big fan of both and look forward to seeing both again sometime in the future and hopefully soon !!!! Brother Elsey was a surprising and incredible highlight to the show, an opening band that simply brought it, So glad we saw them and we will go out of our way to see them again!!!

    Canadian Rock at its Finest

by Staples on 2024-02-20Meridian Centre - St Catharines

This show was a long time coming for me, but it comes at a great moment in The Glorious Sons career. Over the years the band has racked up so many great songs. They cranked most of them out on Saturday night. Think I went in expecting a good show based on friends opinions on previous shows. But, the band floored me for sure on delivery and power. Every great musical act in my opinion delivers great rocking songs (Heavy) and great melodic compositions (Lightening). The singer, Brett didn't let up the whole night and could hear by the time the final song (Kill the Lights) came around that his voice was spent. To see the Hitz FM Rock Search winners back where the break came (St. Catharines) for them, at the biggest venue in the city, was a moment for sure.

    Amazing Show

by Spring on 2024-02-20Meridian Centre - St Catharines

One of the best performances you can see. Not just singing preforming. Everything from spoken poetry to lighting made this such a memorable concert. Loved every minute. Even the opening band was spectacular.

Great venue, quick line ups, lots of washrooms & vendors, not a bad seat in the house!

    Sound system needs improvement

by Tychester on 2024-02-20Meridian Centre - St Catharines

Great energy. Sound seemed strained to determine what song was being performed. Maybe due to our seat location?

Fantastic night, the Sons sounded better than ever!

by DeeVee25 on 2024-02-20Meridian Centre - St Catharines

I was blown away at how great they sounded Saturday night. It was a great night! My only complaint is of the air quality of the venue itself. It's awful. Everytime I come here I leave with a side throat and chapped lips becasue the air is so dry. It was extremely smokey in there Saturday night.
