    Disappointed

by Nutcase on 2023-03-05Grey Eagle Event Centre - Calgary

Three bands made for two very long intermissions. I think we were waiting more that we saw the bands. Toronto and the Headpins were too loud and you couldn't hear their voices and didn't realize they only really had one big hit. These bands had the original musicians but with two lead singers that were primarily eye candy. Headpins especially had really bad sound. Lee Aaron however was very entertaining and an original singer. We actually left before the Headpins finished and the lead singer called everyone up to the stage and it was just too noisy and a lot of drunks.

    Disappointing

by BM on 2023-03-01Grey Eagle Event Centre - Calgary

First time at the venue: (1) smell of cigarette smoke from the smoking section in the casino was a very unpleasant surprise, (2) floor seating was not permanent so all 1 level, below caliber expected, (3) no drinking water fountains, (4) the 3 separate acts required too much time for transition set ups. All 3 acts were extremely loud. Our group of 3 left early and we were not the only ones leaving the venue.

    Great concert

Lots of old song favourites, we loved it. Toronto was excellent and the lead singer was great. Lee Aaron was great as well as Headpins.

    Excellent shkw

by Les on 2023-02-28Grey Eagle Event Centre - Calgary

Grey Eagle venue is one if the best and go to all the time. The way the bill was written it looked like Toronto was going to be the headliner but they were first. Very good set although I would have like 3-4 more songs New lead singer is very good. Lee Aaron still rocks out very well and really puts on a great show. The Headpins were phenomenal. Other than a couple sound issues and the guitarist tuning his guitar ( seriously don’t they do that before the show) The new singer was spectacular and if you closed your eyes you would swear it was Darby Mills. A good set and a the best of the 3 bands

    Awesome time

by Leanne on 2023-02-27Grey Eagle Event Centre - Calgary

Good concert. Thought the line up was different. Toronto and Lee Aaron came out to do autographs, but the other did not. Wish the bands will come out and meet and greet the fans. Also have pictures there for them to sign. Some do others not but it is great to meet them.

Good experience at Grey eagle - for a busy venue. Night - 2 shuttle buses would have been better than 1 !

    Bands were great but......

by LisaDarryl on 2023-02-27Grey Eagle Event Centre - Calgary

Well...., the bands were awesome, but the venue was not, the smoke was so tough to take as is bellowed from the casino through open doors into the auditorium, we left before the third act was done, as we were coughing, eyes watering, headaches. They may need to do something different about that, keep doors closed, better ventilation. I will never attend another concert at that venue.

Headpins, Toronto and Lee Aaron, great line up! Really enjoyed the seating set up and the concert was fantastic, bringing us back to our rocking youth.

    Unimpressed

by Big I on 2023-02-27Grey Eagle Event Centre - Calgary

I've seen the Headpins twice over the last several years and they've always been great. The new lead singer Rosa although very talented and sounded good, she lacked professionalism and stage presence and spent much of the performance laying on her back or rolling around on the stage out of sight? Sad to say the least.
