Shame on me! The Headstones had been on my list of bands to see forever, and I never had. They kicked major ass!!! This was my first HS show - guaranteed it won't be my last! The energy they put out was incredible. Thanks for a fantastic night Hugh & the boys!
The Headstones put on a great show, and frontman Hugh Dillon didn't disappoint. Dillon went into the crowd multiple times which had the crowd excited and happy to see the singer up close and personal and allowed people in the seats farther back in the venue a close up view of Dillon. Their set was pretty solid and the sounded great. Dillon also threw a harmonica in the crowd after each time he played a harmonica solo in a song. Bif Naked's side project called Snake and the Chain opened the show and were not great. The fact that drums were played from a song track instead of live really took away from their set and it just didn't sound good at all.
The headstones delivered as a solid kick in your face show as they ever had...and i love the slightly refined feel of the new album...in a venue i did'nt think it would be the whole theatre standing...ages 18 to thier 60s stood together and rejoyced in the angst filled tunes of the Headstones....so if your thinking they are past it think on...and go get your ya ya's out with Hugh at the helm
Great concert with a truly unbelievable band. Music was great and volume was not crazy loud. My wife had never seen the band live and she will be first in line for their next show in Winnipeg.
One of the best Canadian bands! I love watching these guys live, so much energy. I will see them every time they come to Winnipeg. The venue was great too!
Awesome place for bands . Especially headstones . Only issue is the seats they are on the smaller side . Not much space unless your a toothpick they are tight
Sold out show for good reason. This band combined with the venue made for an amazing evening. I would see Headstones again if they come back
The opening act Bif Naked set at Club Regent Casino Event Centre, Thursday, November 16, 2017 was terrible. The bass fuzz overpowered any resemblance to music and the total effect with overpowering volumes came across as "noise" including vocals and lead guitar. It was a loud overcooked boiled to death, stew of sound. It was not the sound systems fault as the Headstone's set was completely balanced and clear. I was looking forward to hearing Bif Naked but was completely disappointed. The Headstone's played a well-received high performance right on rock show of high energy and excitement! The audience was immediately on their feet from start to finish. A totally enjoyable and professional rock set. Cannot wait till the Headstones return to Winnipeg!

My husband and I couldn't be happier with the concert! This was top shelf on our bucket list! And they did not disappoint!
