The show was excellent. Wonderful voice true to the original. The facility is great but poorly managed. Extremely long wait to enter the facility. Understaffed at the security line. People were still being seated during the 3 song. Do better event centre.
I have been to many live concerts in my 75 years of music appreciation. "The Inclines, Sweet Dreams of Patsy Cline" concert at Club Regent was the 8th time I have had the privilege of experiencing that same show. Although the backup band has gone through changes throughout the years, songstress extraordinaire Michelle Anseeuw 's tribute remains the same professional, authentic rendition of the legend Patsy Cline. Each time the show is viewed there are surprises from the star as well as from her back up band! When we thought the show did not need any improvement, we were in for a surprise. An archival video of Patsy was paired with Michelle's performance, leaving the audience in awe and tears! Band members hale from Winnipeg and surrounding towns within one hundred miles. All are professional musicians in their own right and make this Manitoban mighty proud! The ambiance of lighting, perfect volume, various instrumentals, lighting and special effects were second to none. Harmonies, comic relief, videos and simulated radio announcements added to the authenticity. What more can I say!!
This show just keeps getting better and better. I’ve now seen Sweet Dreams of Patsy Cline by the InClines four times, more than I’ve seen any other artist, and hope to see it again. Michelle Anseeuw did a fantastic job singing Patsy’s music right from the first time I saw her perform seven or eight years ago, but she seems to gain even more confidence with a stronger voice and presentation each time I’ve seen the show. The musicians and vocalists backing her are also great. Most “tribute” shows I’ve seen have had an imitation feel to them, a few notches below the “real thing”, but not so with this show. It’s a show well worth seeing multiple times.
The singing was great, the music was great. It was a pleasure to be able to relax and enjoy a performnce and not put up with the unnecessary VOLUME by some groups which they mistakenly call a "concert"
The concert was really good, but the seating is horrible, so tight you can’t move. I’d be hard pressed to book another event there.
Singing was amazing and stage presence was excellent. Added the humour was a nice touch and not overdone.
Excellent show-we thoroughly enjoyed it. The songs and her voice brought back great memories.
Close your eyes and you'll think you're back in the time of Patsy Cline. A wonderful show, very entertaining. The band was awesome. Two thumbs up!
