About

Formed in 2011, The Interrupters came together when the Bivona brothers--guitarist Kevin Bivona, bassist Justin Bivona, and drummer Jesse Bivona--found themselves on various bills with Aimee (Interrupter) as a solo artist. Upon bonding over musical tastes, the four formed The Interrupters and delivered their self-titled debut in 2014. The Interrupters have shared stages with bands such as Rancid, blink-182, Green Day, Bad Religion, and many other stalwarts of the punk scene solidifying the band's status as a dynamic force. The band released their fourth studio album In The Wild in August 2022.

My husband and I were blown away with the venue. It was everything we had hoped for. Great sound -great view of the stage from any and every angle. We will definitely keep an eye out for future concerts at the Olympia!

    Great show, great venue

by Wurgin on 2023-05-09L'Olympia - Montreal

We were so happy she had the opportunity to take our teenager to a live show in a really cool venue to see bands that we really wanted to see. There were a huge cross section of ages of really energetic mosh pit and a lot of respect that was in the air protecting older and younger folks. Frank Turner kicked it, the interpreters were super high energy. We're so glad we went!

    Great band, sad venue

by Noeffix on 2023-05-08L'Olympia - Montreal

Honestly that show could’ve been exceptional rather than just great. The venue is the only venue treating us like punks. There’s always a lineup so long because of overreacting boss getting too much security, every other venue I went in and out 5 times by the time I get in at this place. There is also no craft beer in the place, like its 2001. The band gets 4/5* because of no encore. The venue gets 1/5*.

    Fun live performance

by Anna on 2023-05-08L'Olympia - Montreal

The opened with Take Back the Power which got the crowd dancing and singing and that vibe and atmosphere continued throughout the entire show. My only wish is that it was longer. Amazing!

by Mac on 2023-04-27Commodore Ballroom - Vancouver

Great band at a favourite venue. They establish a connection to the crowd right from the start and keep it going. The crowd responded in kind. A joyful evening of upbeat ska and punk.
