About

The Kid LAROI is an Australian rapper and singer from the suburbs of Sydney. Born Charlton Kenneth Jeffrey Howard, the rising star got his big break after opening for Juice WRLD on the late rapper’s tours of Australia in 2018 and 2019. Following a string of one-off singles like “Diva,” “Addison Rae” and the Lil Tjay collaboration “Fade Away,” The Kid LAROI released his debut mixtape F*ck Love in the summer of 2020. The deluxe edition, F*ck Love (Savage), earned the singer his first Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 thanks to “Without You” featuring Miley Cyrus. In 2021, The Kid LAROI earned a global No. 1 hit with the Justin Bieber duet “Stay,” which went on to be certified Diamond by the RIAA. Since then, the artist has released his debut studio album The First Time (2023), contributed his song “Forever & Again” to the Barbie soundtrack and dropped his 2024 documentary Kids Are Growing Up: A Story About A Kid Named Laroi.

  • Crazy Experience!

by Amazing time on 2024-10-01Place Bell - LavalRating: 5 out of 5

Stayed across from Place Bell at Courtyard Marriott, whole thing was a bit confusing at first but fun figuring it out. Everyone was smiling, there was some event going on in the center of all the buildings. Lots of restaurants. I may have had a few drinks and tried to find a club with my girlfriend. Unfortunately I don’t know what I was thinking but we walked to Grand Studio 20 minutes and I have to say we messed up not going to Montreal lol. We thought about going back and taking the subway but it was probably not a great idea so we just headed back. Hotel was amazing, definitely recommend Courtyard however not much to do there such as pool or hot tub there are lots of great places nearby!

  • One of the HOTTEST concerts I've ever been to

by Sofia on 2024-07-24History - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

This was my first time at History, and it was one concert I will never forget. Waiting in line was for nearly 4-5 hours was brutal but totally worth it. Crew members came around with sunscreen and water while we waited which I thought was a really nice touch. Entering the venue was quite seamless. The concert itself started off well, the openers were great but Laroi took a while to come out. The venue kept repeating the same songs for background music and people were getting a little fed up at that point. As it was getting closer to show time and consistently throughout the show, people were fainting and emergency/crew members had to hop the barriers and push through the crowd to get to the individual in need. This got increasingly difficult as time passed as each time this happened the crowd would push their way forward squishing everyone closer and closer together, particularly at the front of the crowd (where I was, about 6ft from the stage). I shouted over to security and asked them to do something but they said there was nothing they could do. They were consistently handing out water bottles to the crowd but everyone had to take sips and pass it on because there wasn't enough for everyone. There were several moments during the concert where I thought I was going to lose my partner because of how aggressive everyone was in trying to get as close as they could. This took away from my experience and made it difficult to enjoy the show. Security was on top of kicking out those who were being disruptive and threatening but they could've been slightly stricter. In my opinion, the venue could have better safety precautions to easily avoid all the crowding, sweating, pushing, fainting, etc. However, the view was one I will never forget and Laroi put on an insane show! I would certainly return if he were to come back to Toronto but I would be more prepared for the 3, close to 4 hour, experience we had and especially the HEAT.

  • Insane Show

by EmilyTown on 2024-06-26Place Bell - LavalRating: 5 out of 5

Honestly, this might have been the most emotional concert I have seen by a mainstream artist. The Kid Laroi has an insane stage presence and puts his heart into every single song. If you’re ever on the fence, get the tickets.

  • Great concert!

  • Great Concert!

    by Papi D on 2024-06-26History - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Kid Laroi was amazing to see in person I would 100% see again! He sounded awesome live and put on a great show and was engaged with the audience. The venue was also really nice for the size would highly suggest seeing a show there!

  • Fantastic performance with unfortunate tardiness

by Edrees on 2024-06-26History - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Great performance in a nice venue. Kid Laroi did more than just sing his heart out, but put on a entire show that is both engaging and funny. There was an unfortunate issue with how late the performances started. Could have been delayed to get people to buy drinks while they as a way to increase revenue. Regardless of the reason, it was way too long of a wait to start the main show, nearly 2 hours past the original start time. Otherwise great performance.

  • Always good

by Gisele on 2024-06-26History - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

I’ve seen the kid laroi 3 times now. 2 being a history. This was probably the most underwhelming of them all. Don't get me wrong it was still very hype and I enjoyed it. But he can’t be playing at history he's way too big now. Glaive got off at 10 then he got on at 10:45 and got off for his encore just before 12. Not to mention those people in the pit standing there since 7pm. Not sure if it’s a management thing but do better. He is an unreal artist and showman. Needing to have 2 shows in the same day tells all. I understand circumstance but plan better…. This guy will sell out Budweiser I guarantee it. Scotiabank next year for sure. He is hitting his peak and only going up.
