About

The Lumineers are a Grammy-nominated indie folk band from Denver, Colorado. Led by founding members Wesley Schultz (lead vocals, guitar) and Jeremiah Fraites (drums, percussion, piano), the band is often credited for helping mainstream the Americana genre in the 2010s, the band has cultivated a following thanks to their vivid storytelling, dynamic live shows and catchy choruses. Their 2012 hit “Ho Hey,” from their self-titled debut, reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2016, they released their second studio album Cleopatra, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The Lumineers headed out on their first headlining arena tour in 2017, and opened for U2 at stadiums on the band's Joshua Tree Tour that same year. The band’s anthemic ballad “Ophelia” also went viral on TikTok in 2020–21, with help from a dancing kangaroo, and introduced the band to a new legion of fans. In January 2022, The Lumineers released their fourth studio album, BRIGHTSIDE, which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200 and was described by The Telegraph as “a sweet slice of Americana that will get right under your skin.” The band released their fifth album Automatic in February 2025, ahead of a stadium world tour.

  • Best concert I’ve ever been to

by LK on 2022-09-12Rating: 5 out of 5

Never in my life have I been to a better concert. I cried the whole time. It was an emotional and incredible experience. Truly couldn’t have been better. They played their best songs, they had the crowd drawn in, entertained and involved the entire time. Genuinely couldn’t have been better. If you have the opportunity to go, do it. Buy the tickets. Money will come back but if you miss the opportunity to experience this concert you’ll regret it. Trust me.

  • The Lumineers - June 12, 2022

by Ruth on 2022-08-30Budweiser Stage - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Lumineers were amazing - they gave an excellent performance. I was very disappointed in the venue. I had specifically and intentionally selected a seated section, and paid for my tickets accordingly, however, as soon as the Lumineers started everyone around me stood up and continued standing for the duration of their performance. I was not aware of any attempts by venue staff to encourage people to stay seated. This greatly hampered my concert experience as I could not see the band for their entire performance. If I had wanted to stand for the concert, I would have purchased floor tickets.

  • What a great show

by DazzerMcB on 2022-08-29Rating: 5 out of 5

Daughter's 16th birthday gift. Loved the concert. Very engaging with the croud. Very fun and everyone was into it. Kiddo loved it, I wasn't a huge fan but after the live show, they made it my top 10 best shows. Would see them again

  • Amazing, but pricy.

by Allie on 2022-08-21Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

The music, the bands, the people were all AMAZING, I’ve been to well over 30 live concerts, 4 at Rogers place before the big “C” and 3 since opening back up, all I can say is that if you want people to buy food and beverages, you have to make them reasonable prices, not only are people just choosing not to spend money but the ones who do are just plain rude to the people at the counters. I’ve never seen such short drink lines at any concerts as I have since Rogers place upped their prices. Something should definitely change on that part. As for the music itself, amazing, probably one of the best concerts I’ve been to, will absolutely go again, just drink before I get there next time.

The Lumineers were fabulous. It was wonderful to be in a full stadium listening to a wonderful, soul soothing band that put on a professional, tight show. I would recommend seeing them whenever one has a chance to.

  • Excellent Concert

by CountryFan on 2022-08-11Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 5 out of 5

It was a fantastic show, not much more to say! It was a sold out crowd and there were no lines waiting to get in. A bit pushy getting out as the 2nd balcony escalator was shut down.

  • Best concert hands down

  • Lumineers, Fantastic Show

    by RP58 on 2022-08-10Rogers Place - EdmontonRating: 4 out of 5

My wife and I put this in our top 5 performances for large venue arena type shows, right up there with the Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty. The runway circle stage was used a lot and gave people back further in the audience a great chance to see and interact with the band performers. Having only been around about 10 years the volume of great hits and great music is amazing, and the performances were tremendous. The energy was constant and interaction with the audience was fantastic. I am hoping the Lumineers continue to evolve and provide more great music for all of us to enjoy. Wesley does such a great job on vocals, but my suggestion on the band to evolve into a truly super group would be to add another vocalist, maybe a female vocalist to round out the band and enhance the entertainment experience. Wesley is great, great, but after 2 hours it starts to become the same presentation and experience, maybe it could be even something more.
