The Musical Box was a fantastic tribute band for Genesis. Great musicianship by the Band and theatrics and vocal from lead singer. The venue was also very accessible and great view of stage. Will return for sure.

This is my second time seeing The Musical Box, and both time, was one of the best time capsules concert I’ve ever seen and heard! This is definitely not just a cover band but a real visual and musically original representation of a ‘70s Genesis concert. I took my younger son with me this time and he was blown away. If you have a chance, do not pass on the occasion to see this (assuming you’re an early Genesis fan).
Absolutely fantastic show. Where else are you going to hear full live versions of Supper's Ready, Cinema Show and Firth of Fifth? A once in a lifetime experience.
I’ve seen them many times over the years and there’s certainly the best genesis cover band out there… In fact, they’re probably one of the best cover bands. So the standards are high, and it was a solid show as usual. However, there were times when they seemed a bit off, this time around there seem to be a few mixing problems at the beginning and the base was a little too heavy at times drowning out some of the other fine musicians. Still solid, but a little fine-tuning. I guess everyone has a bit of an off night. Will definitely see them again.
Stage show and the music is so accurate to the original Genesis concert. I would recommend this show to any true die hard prog rocker. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. I was transported back 50 yrs... Merci
The Musical Box takes you right back to 1973 Genesis. Even the smallest detail is not overlooked. The musicians are impeccable and a really entertaining show. Highly recommended!!!
The best show yet I've seen from the Musical Box- ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! Amazing Energy, Superb Musical Talent! A must see show!
The band was in fine form. The sound was great. The audience was enthralled.
..but the mixing was a little off, for me.............row X and the vocal was hard to hear sometimes
Musical Box do an eerily accurate depiction of early Genesis concerts but it was a shame the sound mix was so poor. Drums were too hot and should have been screened to control their volume and the mix drowned out the vocals which were largely incomprehensible. Of course, concert technology was comparatively primitive when this music was first performed but it was a shame the advances were not evident on this occasion.
As always, The Musical Box never disappoints! Their renditions of Horizons, Supper’s Ready, The Battle of Epping Forrest, and Firth of Fifth were extremely impressive. They’re a tight band and for fans of prog rock a must see.
I’ve been seeing these guys every year since the mid-90’s — sometimes twice! They never disappoint! They are the closest thing to seeing the real Gabriel era Genesis as it comes — like going back in a time machine. I’m a lifelong fan, and will continue to see their shows every year until they retire. Stay young, guys!
I’ve seen this show a couple of times over many years. Redoing a Genesis concert when the original band was very young and vibrant by the now much older musicians that looked very tired which I found a bit stale. The singer seemed much out of breath during the performance. Maybe its time this troupe step aside and refresh with a younger group of musicians to recapture the vibrance of the original young band at that time?

Great music, great performance, but the bass pedals were waaaay too loud. Hard on the ears and ruined the balance with other instruments. Listen to the original recordings and live recordings, and the bass is nowhere near that loud. Either the bass player, who is the leader of the band, wants bass front and centre, or the soundboard guys did a bad job. This is supposed to be an exact re-creation. Genesis never had the bass that loud.
An unbelievable show. All the band members are incredibly talented. It was like I was transported back in time and I was watching and listening to Genesis in the early 70s. Can't wait until they return.
If you have never seen old Genesis with Peter Gabriel, go see The Musical Box. You can then say you have! Incredible show and musicianship!!
Vraiment déçu. Il m'a été impossible d'apprécier la prestation du groupe dû à une pitoyable qualité du son. Volume trop élevé, trop de hautes fréquences, mauvaise balance du son etc.
