About

The Offspring are a punk rock band from Garden Grove, California. Led by founding member, lead vocalist and guitarist Dexter Holland since 1986, The Offspring have released 11 studio albums and sold over 40 million records globally. The band’s self-titled debut arrived in 1989, followed by 1992’s Ignition and 1994’s Smash. Behind breakout Mainstream Rock Airplay singles “Come Out and Play,” “Self Esteem” and “Gotta Get Away,” Smash went on to sell over 11 million records, earn six RIAA platinum certifications and set the record for the highest-selling album released by an independent label. Ixnay on the Hombre in 1997 notched The Offspring’s first No. 1 single on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart with “Gone Away,” while 1998’s Americana hit the band’s chart peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 on its way to netting five RIAA platinum certifications and three more Alternative Airplay Top 10 singles: “The Kids Aren’t Alright,” “Pretty Fly (For a White Guy)” and “Why Don’t You Get a Job?” The Offspring later topped the Alternative Airplay chart again with “Hit That” from 2003’s Splinter and “You're Gonna Go Far, Kid” from 2008’s Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. The Offspring logged two more Mainstream Rock Airplay chart-toppers with “Coming for You” and the title track from 2021’s Let the Bad Times Roll. In 2024, The Offspring released their 12th album Supercharged

  • Amazing!!

by Jennifer on 2022-11-14Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

Absolutely amazing show! So happy I attended. Two small complaints: I wish Offspring had played longer than 90 minutes and the Simple Plan pre-show wasnt great.

  • Simple Plan and Offspring in Ottawa

by Musicforlife on 2022-11-14Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 5 out of 5

The concert was loud and energizing as it should be!! Simple Plan really played it up and we were excited to see them, they did not disappoint. Their energy was great!! Offspring was equally awesome! We danced the night away! Super happy to check this off the bucket list.

  • Great experience

Both acts were amazing - it was my first time seeing Simple Plan live and they were amazing. Offspring was my second time and they did not disappoint!

by Big D on 2022-11-14Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 1 out of 5

Simple Plan opened and they were amazing 10/10 experience and performance! The offspring sound like they need auto tune. If I were you go for Simple Plan leave before the offspring even go on.

  • One Fine Night!

by The Scottster on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Thoroughly enjoyed the venue and getting food and then to our seats was a breeze. Ushers and other employees of Scotiabank Arena were super-helpful. And then Offspring...what a fun night with my son! We loved every minute of it. Such a great band and always put on such a great show!

  • Mediocre memories

    by E G on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The mic level was not loud enough and kept cutting out on Dexter. With some on-line research, it appears the band may be backfilling Dexter’s lead vocals with recorded clips that cut out his mic and were poorly synced. Regardless of the reason, the result is that Dexter lacked stage presence and energy since his singing was barely audible through most of the set. I rather hear an unfiltered lead belt out hits. It was a disappointing show.

  • Simple plan was amazing, but Offspring was dissappointing

by Sergey on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

Offspring sound quality was horrible, no way to hear lyrics and we had good seats too. Simple plan was pretty good, we enjoyed it a lot. Overall, waited so long to see Offspring and it was a total bust, we even left early it was that bad, I'll stick to their cds.

  • Was really good ' grat sound

by Santa on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

  • ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

by Rachel on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I've been to many shows and I've never had so much fun! Danced for over 2 hrs straight! 3 days later and my voice still hasn't recovered! The music was awesome, the bands were great, craking jokes, telling stories...even the intermission was entertaining with the Offspring blimp and various "cams" So much fun!!!

  • Amazing Show

    by b. a. on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Simple Plan and The Offspring delivered an exciting show full of fun antics, music which left the crowd feeling very happy and entertained

  • Epic

    by K. E. on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

Both bands were great, security and crowd control however were horrible. People were getting knocked down to the ground and I am covered in bruises because of how rough the crowd got. We all paid the same price for general admission, and there really is no need to be so violent, then have security laugh at it. Scotiabank arena needs new employees. Offspring, keep it up you guys are amazing!

  • Interaction

by Juan Andres on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Simple Plan and Offspring interaction with their fans was outstanding. Great show.

First rock concert, amazing vibes. Both bands brought insane energy.

  • awesome and energetic

by nick on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Didn't waste much time, straight to music. Amazing performance. Would've loved more "less popular songs" but the set list was still great

  • Amazing concert

by Rick Fullerton on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The show was fantastic. Great energy, played all the hits and gave it their all on stage. Highly recommend checking them out!

  • Great energy

    by Here4Nostalgia on 2022-11-10Scotiabank Arena - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

Both he Offspring and Simple Plan really brought the energy and out on a great show! The beach balls were a fun theme throughout. There was one issue and that was around the sound of the mic during the Offspring’s show. The lead singer, Dexter, kept cutting out despite him singing into mic. It was a weird thing that seemed to happen only when the music got loud and I wasn’t the only one to notice it. Otherwise we had a good time :)
