Good venue but the amplification totally overpowered the hall: seemed that there had been no effort to adjust the amplification to the excellent acoustics of the hall. The great vocal harmonies (all performers who sang had great voices) of the Queen hits could not be appreciated since the amplification of the instruments totally obscured the singing. The lead singer's introduction of songs was perfunctory at best.
Amazing concert, music is Queens. Can not tell the difference. The voice is of course not Freddie's but you should not expect that. Overall - I was sceptical because of the voice BEFORE we went, but after the concert, I was very satisfied. Recommended.
Honestly, wasn't expecting it to be SO GOOD! They played quite a variety of Queen songs, even some obscure, older ones. Their harmonies were good, not excellent, but good. They worked hard to entertain us. The drummer even had a great singing voice! The bar was set low when we started out, but they built up quite the momentum and by the end, we were sorry it was over.
The guests all around us were saying that the attire chosen to represent the Queen band members was not representative of the group. The music was well performed but not what most expected. it was a good night but could have been better.
Normally a artist would converse with the audiance getting them involved. There was none of this.
YOU. MUST. SEE. THESE. GUYS. I've seen many tribute shows, but this is one of the better ones. With the great music of Queen, these talented boys and their equally talented sound crew made every song true to it's original. The sound mixing was exceptional - clear lead and background vocals, clear lead guitar, clear balanced bass. Nice stage lighting as well. Other Queen tributes shows tend to go a bit overboard with theatrics. However, Queen Extravaganza was nicely restrained and chose to focus on beautifully recreating the sound of the original songs instead. Oh boys, so very well done!
They were great! Played all the songs I wanted to hear. The lead singer didn’t have quite the magnetism I was hoping he would have. But was well done!
Singer did not remotely sound like Freddie Mercury (ok he really was one of a kind). But even the rest of the band wasn’t so good, butchered most of the songs. Playing a seating audience didn’t help with the ambiance. Overall expensive for a karaoke band.
A very talented group of men! Vocals of all including the drummer were incredible!
