Doc Walker was as good as the Road Hammers. Excellent bands!

  • Blackjack Billy & Road Hammers know how to rock!!

Blackjack Billy and the Road Hammers know how to put some rock in their country. They are CD quality on stage but they are so entertaining that you feel as though you should be in a pub with friends! Doc Walker was an okay addition but they really slowed down the feel of the concert.

The show was great. I had heard the Road Hammers before at the Bengough, SK annual Gateway Festival which happens the third weekend of July each year. I blame the Radio stations sponsoring the show for the poor turnout. I only heard of the event through Ticket Edge as I am on their mailing list whenever the Hammers are in Saskatchewan. I took four other people with me, so had Ticket Edge not informed me of the event there would have been five less people there. It was an event for all ages. I am a senior citizen, my wife early sixties, our children aged twenty three, twenty four and twenty five all enjoyed the show. GREAT performance by all three bands.

  • Not in Saskatoon but in Regina

I actually resold my tickets for the Saskatoon show and saw the Road Hammers on Monday December 8 at Casino Regina. This was a much more intimate setting than where they played in Saskatoon. Though never hearing any of these bands before attending the concert, I really enjoyed all three bands, especially the encore where all three bands came on stage and jammed together. Very, very entertaining and impressive. Support live music!!!!

What a great concert. These guys know how to put on a great show. The music was jumping and so was the crowd. Great entertainment. If you have not seen these guys yet, make sure you get tickets to there next concert. They are on my list of Country Artist to see again and again. Again, did not agree with the Security Policy not allowing your purchases/bags to come into the Venue. When the super dogs was on earlier in the day, you could, can't see what was different for the night concert, except they served beer. They also need to serve coffee/tea.

We enjoyed the concert very much. Our tickets were purchased on line some time prior. We noticed that they were playing at the RCAWF and decided to travel from "Sudbury" and "Noelville" to TO and enjoy both events. Mind you, the tickets showed the start time as 7:30PM. We were a little disapointed that nothing started 'til about after 8:30PM. I did not realize that there was to be a pre-band warm-up of another band. Even with these unexpected events, we would return en-mass to another concert by The Road Hammers. My children (31-29-26-&25) were all surprised that we were to attend a group that they themselves would attend.
