  • Not worth the $$$

by CRod on 2009-10-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 1 out of 5

Unfortunately found that the show was not as "lively" as I would have hoped. In fact, at times during the performance I found my 3 year old on the verge of being a sleep. Was also disappointed that a few of the "most popular" Wiggles songs were not part of the show. I must confess that I do not frequent "children's performances" often, but was disgusted as to the cost of the snacks at Rogers Centre - $12 for a small popcorn and a bottle of water (would assume the water was $5, leaving the popcorn at $7)!

  • Wiggles...still fun

by Ophie on 2009-10-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Although last year's concert was a lot more entertaining, The Wiggles Go Bananas was still entertaining for the whole family. I was disappointed that a greater effort wasn't made to collect the roses for Dorothy. Last year they came right up to the 100 level--this year they collected from just the floor seats. I could do without all the acrobatic acts too. My kids just want to see and sing along with the Wiggles.

  • Need some new material

by baloo on 2009-10-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

Attended last years's show with our son, attended this yaer with our 2 son's ages 31/2 & 26 mos, show duration (90mis) was ideal as children tend to get restless,. however, they need some new content as well as having more involvement from some of the other chracter's in the show i.e. Henry, Dorothy ect, furthermore, Jeff did nothing. This show is not cheap by any means $200.00+ for 4 and you have to pay for a child over the age of 1, fot this age I would not recommend, however, for any child over the age of 2 it is worth it for their sake.

This for me was one of the better kids shows I have attended. It was funny and there was no intermission which was great. Well done. The performers really took the time to make it an interactive show.

  • Totally energetic

by Annalene on 2009-10-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

This show was not only for the kids but for adults. The performances were higly energitic and entertaining. The ballerina's were beautiful. Way to go Sam, Jeff, Anthony, Murray, Wags, Cptn.Feathersword, Dorothy and Henry. We're still shimmy shakin'. Hopefully they make another stop in T.O next year.

  • Slightly disappointed

by Juanamal on 2009-10-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

I am the mother of twin boys - age, almost 22 months. They love the Wiggles to watch on TV or DVD, so I thought this would be a great first live event for them. I was disappointed that there were no big screens for my boys to see them. (We were seated in the 100's) I think that if they had been able to see the Wiggles and not just hear them, then their attention would have been held longer. I don't think that my boys recognized any of the Wiggles from this distance.

I did not realize they had so much acrobatics in the show. It was entertaining for a parent as well as for kids. My son and I enjoyed the silliness of it all. We were further away from the stage but the sound and colorful stage was still impressive. It was a great touch when they read all the hand made signes and walked around the crowd. The only thing I would change would be the venue-The Rigers Centre Toronto was not a "stroller-friendly" place.

  • A little too long

    by Dmh1 on 2009-10-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 4 out of 5

The show was a little too long for the younger audience. My son (3.5 years old) wanted to leave about half way through because he was tired. I think maybe a 45 minute show would be more age-appropriate. Although he really enjoyed the show and was happy that the Wiggles walked up through the stands.

  • Wiggles - was OK

by featherc on 2009-10-26Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 3 out of 5

The show was ok..not their best by far. Very similar to the show last year but didn't even sing as much...kind of disappointing

I was impressed. Having never attended a children's concert before I was not sure what to expect. Happily I can say that we enjoyed ourseleves and will attend the next time the Wiggles are in Toronto. I was afraid that they might be jaded after having entertained children for so many years and doing so many concerts, but it appeared as though they were having a great time on stage. I also thought it was very sweet that they took the time to acknowledge every child/family that brought a sign. My only complaint was that the concert started late and it made for a long wait for my 3 year old son.

  • Wiggles without a clue

by Jellyman on 2009-10-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 2 out of 5

The show seemed disorganized from the get go. The “Wiggles” didn’t seem to have a game plan or a structure for their extravaganza. We found the members to be searching for words and show content on several occasions (as if they were making it up as they went), their wireless mics kept cutting in & out regularly and in the middle of the performance they stopped to thank (and read), every single fan's sign that had been brought to the ACC – this made for a serious drag in the time and had a negative effect on the flow of the show and the crowd in general. All this being said… my two-year old loved it and probably didn’t notice any of the above mentioned annoyances & glitches. Definitely not worth the $107 (plus parking, souvenir and snack = $155) but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. If your child is a fan… go for it!

  • The wiggle was an amazing show

by jazzymar on 2009-10-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I took my 15 month old son to the wiggle show and we had an amazing time, it was fun, entertaining, and excited. Not only they sing but they did games and gymnastics too. Sam and Murray went to the crow to say hi, people took pictures, and the dancers were great too. If they come next year we will go again.

kids were disappointed. They were hoping for more songs. Gymnastics used during the show were totally useless and so wereoff stage activities such as collection of roses for dorothy. These activities created a lot of confusion.

  • The Wiggles went Bananas!!!

    by Mave13 on 2009-10-25Rogers Centre - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

It was really great! We loved it from the beginning to the end. The format they used was fabulous and all of the silly corny things they did made all of the children roar with laughter! I was very impressed with the dancing, Sam must have been a professional dancer before he joined the Wiggles as a dancer. I was also very impressed with Anthony and Captain Feathersword joining the gymnasts, they were really good and I bet they have fantastic abs! My daughter is very young and I don't think that she really understood that it was really them and that they are real people until Murray was only a few feet from us in the audience. It was a really great experience for her! It was a really funny and exciting show.

  • Amazing

I have never seen better show for kids. Must see. I think the only kids show with real people on stage that kids love. Everything else is about cartoons (Dora, Disney, etc). Enjoy.

Loved the show and would recommend it to everyone! Only think is even though we had good seat, it would have been nice to have them on a large screen so the kids could see them better. Only suggestion though. our family loved it so much and would do it again next year.
