This was the second time that me and my daughter have seen the Wiggles. We saw them in Lethbridge last year as well. They put on the most entertaining concert for the kids, and we always leave wanting more. The only thing I didn't like, was the price of parking for a childrens show. I thought $12.00 was a bit much.
I thought the show was very good, they always had something going on. The kids were never bored. Even my 15 month old had a good time. I liked it in the saddledome because there was no intermission like you have when it is at the jubilee.
The show was wonderful, lots of singing and dancing with a great mix of old and new songs.
Our family (Mom, Dad, 2yr old girl, 4 yr old boy) really enjoyed the show. Entertaining for kids & parents....a great show!
The kids loved it. Energetic, fun and exciting. Very nice show!
Such a great time there. Very interactive with the kids. The right length of time...not too long or too short. My 2 yr old had a great time!!
I thought the cocert was awesome,my son can't wait for them to come back so we can go see them again!!
Young'en enjoyed (which is all that really matters), show was just the right length; left little one asking for more. As an adult: Smaller than we expected and although most of the acts were newish, new doesn't always equal good especially for a toddler. Supporting characters given too much time. Overall show seemed "tired" can't quite give an example but the # of actors and set size were much smaller and energy level not as high as expected from DVD's of previous shows.
My husband and I had just as much fun as my 3 year old daughter! Anthony, Murray, Jeff and Sam did an amazing job, with a high energy performance throughout. They took the time to get to know their audience and encouraged them to join in the dancing and singing. I would definately bring my kids to another Wiggles concert!!
My children loved the performance ... the energy, enthusiasm and love of music from the Wiggles was evident throughout the show! My three year old son woke up the following morning wanting to go again ... and again! He is now glued to u-tube watching and listening to the Wiggles songs!
What a great show for kids. My daughter was either mesmorized or up dancing her little touche off. She had a fantastic time. Lots of music and fun. Fun for adults too. My husband is jealous he couldn't go.
My 5 year never sat down once from the moment they start till the end. She bob and jumped with every song. It was amazing how the interacted with all the audience. They thank children for their art and mentions names when they could. They made each child feel important and special. They really include the audience, with playing games and more than once coming right out a walking the crowd. Even making their way to the highest seats, to visit with the children that didn't get to buy ticket on the floor.
I didn't really know what to expect or how our 2 year old daughter would react. Had seen the show briefly on TV. The children really loved it. All around us there were kids dancing and singing along. Our little girl seemed to enjoy it and it held her interest for most of the show. Not my favourite but I cannot give it a negative review as the kids loved it and that's who it's for.
Great show last night! I was very impressed at how Murray and Sam went into the audience and even up to the second tier to say hi to their little (and big!) fans during the show. They really treated the kids with a great deal of respect. It was something I had never seen before from any performer. A little less gymastics and a little more songs would have improved my rating. But would still recommend. My 2 year old loved it!
I took my duaghter there and was not sure what to expect at a kids show and how my daughter would be at her first live show. I sat there before it started wondering what I got myself into. When the show started she was excited and I found it very well choreographed. I was entertained not only by the show as a whole, ncluding back up dancers/gymnists but by the Wiggles too who were there trying the routines themselves and doing a good job of it too. I will buying tickets if they come again, and I will even take my daughter too :)
The Wiggles were amazing entertainers!! Our 2.5 year old son was in awe for all of the concert. I must admit I sang along to most of the songs! I can't wait till they come back to Calgary!!
My son and I really enjoyed the show. My only criticisms would be, firstly that for a show that length aimed at little people, perhaps having a short intermission would be beneficial. Granted, the kids could jump and dance in their seats, but I promised my son popcorn at the intermission and I was somewhat in the doghouse (until I bought him a Wiggles glow light). Secondly, we didn't take my 22 month old daughter because we would have had to pay full price for her ticket. Most shows allow kids up to age 2 in free, and up until then they usually sit on a lap anyway... That said, the actual performance was amazing. The acrobatics and ballet were great, and of course the Wiggles songs are catchy and familiar to anyone with kids, so we sang and danced along the whole evening.
Our kids really had fun and enjoyed it. As an adult I expected more substance in the program. At times it seemed like a free for all with no real preparation. That being said, our two little girls, 2 and 4 years, were thrilled to be there and see them in person and loved singing and dancing along! We would recommend others to take their kids.
The Wiggles Go Bananas was an incredible show. It had the kids dancing and singing along. It was like a "mini cirque de soleil" for kids! I really liked how interactive with the audience the group was and how they reached out to their fans as much as they did. Great job Wiggles!
The Wiggles show was excellent. Both my kids age 2 and 4 both enjoyed them Dad even did too. Nice to see the characters involved in all the stunts on show.
