  • Good Music/Horrible Venue

by PCAKES on 2024-05-13Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 3 out of 5

Enjoyed listening to Tim McGraw, unfortunately the heat in the venue was so extremely hot that it restricted being able to enjoy the music. First time seeing him so I'm not really familiar with a lot of his songs. Loved the spectacular video/light show

  • Decent experience

by RG on 2024-05-08Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Opening acts were great. Downfall no jumbo tvs for those in the upper seats, and speakers blocking view of the backdrop/tv for main attraction. Acoustics were good, disappointing in that no encore - but thats not on the venue.

  • Great show to sing along too

Tim McGraw is Always grade A performer. Send him twice and he did not disappoint. I was singing to all his songs.

The venue was nice. The concert was very good. Two very good opening acts. Parking was very easy.

  • What a great night

    by Cheryl-Anne on 2024-05-07Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Tim Mcgraw was a very humble man. His performance was amazing and the way he spoke about his wife and family was with so much respect and love. Sometimes the band was louder than him in such a way if you didn't know the song you couldn't hear the words he was singing. The songs he sang were current and past which was a great selection . I expected a little bit more from the stage show but that could have been the size of the venue. He still satisfied this old girl with his performance.

  • Audio Issues

by Mona on 2024-05-06Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 3 out of 5

We were in section 102 E and the vocals were horrible! We had friends in section 117 B and theirs were good. Also it was very warm with no air circulation. Maybe time to evaluate your equipment in order to offer a great experience to all your customers.

  • Band a bit loud

by Cait on 2024-05-06Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

I loved the concert especially Tim but you could hardly hear him in the first hour or so. Carly Pearce was excellent as well. The playlist was great. It was very hot in the building but maybe that was because we were at the top of level 3.

  • A Very Good Concert by Tim McGraw/Carly Pearce

by Likebrews on 2024-05-06Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 4 out of 5

Carly Pearce was the opening act and did a wonderful job getting the crowd into it. All songs she presented were recognizable from her catalogue. The Tim McGraw show started with a bang to an enthusiastic audience performing three songs before giving a monologue. Tim did cover a good part of his No 1 hits repertoire but a few more would have been pleasing. The band and Tim McGraw did an excellent job of what was presented. We and I think many in the audience were a bit surprised at the abrupt ending to the concert with no goodbye and no encore. I am hearing that from everyone I speak to. The lighting show was fantastic but the LED arrays pointing out from the stage curtain area were certainly bright and repetitive; there were warnings of strobing lighting at the entrance, so we were warned. As usual, to purchase a drink during one of these events is exorbitant, we purchased only one each. We have never left a concert without one piece of merchandise...this time we did, prices were way too high, even for the class of the artist, we left them behind. This was our third time seeing Tim McGraw in conjunction with his wife twice on Soul to Soul Tours. This concert may not have rated quite as high as the first two times. Overall a good time.

  • A good concert that could’ve been a great one.

by LR. on 2024-05-06Canadian Tire Centre - OttawaRating: 3 out of 5

The opening acts were both really, really good however the sound was off. It seemed less an issue with Carly Pearce who was amazing. As for the main act Tim is a wonderful showman and great with the crowd but his vocals were either off or the sound check wasn’t done properly? The concert itself felt short but the set list was great.
